La Kora Taco Truck — Restaurant in California

$2 for a very well proportioned, appetite pleasing, and vibrantly flavorful taco. I came here and had 4 tacos: Al Pastor (spicy pork), Carne Asada (grilled steak), Carnitas (deep-fried pork), and Birria (marinated beef).

Each taco was built upon some of the best (if not best) corn tortillas I've tasted. The tortillas were fluffy but with just the amount of crunch and chew. Tacos were packed with an ample amount of meat, and each meat was well seasoned (not too salty). The Carne Asada also had a pleasant crunch to it which enhanced the experience. Each taco also comes with onions and cilantro. If you're a fan of spice, there's a brown sauce that will really heat things up which I'm a fan of.

I hold a higher expectation for tacos that cost more than $1.5, and these rightfully meet their expectations. Compared to other trucks, the preparation and taste of the meats and tortilla are noticeable, and I believe that these will continue to delight.

Location is in a parking lot, which might be easy to drive past so make sure to keep an eye out when passing the location. I've previously attempted to come on another occasion and missed the truck because they were in another location catering for an event, so it wouldn't hurt...

Used to be my favorite taco truck when in woodland, when they were in 102, hell even in all sacramento too, hand made tortillas and bomb horchata water was the major thing.

Came back for nothing but thin, prone to brake and smaller tortillas. I guess no more horchata ever now, when i asked for it, i got some sort of negative energy

Dont get me wrong, the taste is there but i feel now that there isnt anything that i cant find somewhere else that this guys have other than spicy as hell salsa. Which they should have their lil cups filled up already, i really dont see the point of someone filling up 4 containers of salsas for an order of 4 tacos... I mean at least move the salsa station to where the lil ordering window is not right above it. Saw a guy dropping a whole order on top of a other customer once.... so yeah old problem havent figured that one yet.

Other than that, same old. Order 20mnts ahead at least. A porta potty and hand wash station would be make up...

So this taco truck is a little hidden and in the middle of a little lot with houses around which makes it a chill spot to sit and eat in your car but the downside is that the space can easily be filled with cars because of the size , the food I rate out of 10 a 9 reason is the taste it excellent and the handmade tortillas with the tacos make you feel like authentic style mexico tacos but to me the meat was alittle salty and the grilled onions which may have been (probably) that they made chorizo tacos before then mine right after ( pastor) but other then that the taste was amazing and the set up of the food also they aren't greedy with the meat which makes you feel better...
