I've been here many times for burritos to go and never had an issue, until this past Friday. The staff have always been friendly with us, and the food has always been great (not always super authentic, but good enough for us). I wanted to sit down and have a beer with dinner, otherwise we would have ordered our food to go. We arrived an hour before they closed (plenty of time, we thought) and there was a waitlist, which was fine- I understand restaurants get busy on Friday nights. But 40 minutes later, we realized they must have forgotten about us. We were both starving and trying not to let our empty stomachs turn us into hangry people. There were several tables open which hadn't been cleared yet, and we were starting to wonder if we should clear one ourselves so we can sit down and at least get a bowl of chips and a beer, or just leave. When we asked if it was even worth sitting down to have a meal 20 mins before closing, one of the waitresses told my boyfriend "Dude, don't worry". First off, don't call people "dude" when they're super hungry, and definitely don't tell them not to worry. We could have easily gotten up and left, but we had already invested 40 mins of our time waiting for a table, which there were PLENTY OF! I had even planned on taking my parents here the next day for lunch, but this experience quickly made me change my mind. What irks us the most is that not one person apologized... What kind of restaurant makes you wait 40 mins when there are plenty of tables, and then doesn't even apologize, or thank you for waiting? This one! What is even more upsetting, is that when we were ready to pay and get out of there, the staff passed by us several times without even turning our direction. We sat there for another 10 minutes just waiting to pay for our food. I feel like if you made people wait for 40 mins, you should probably be more considerate and let them get the F out of there. I'm sad to say I won't be back. We thought this was the best Mexican food in town, so...
Read moreIt is our first time here.... and man, I'm impressed. The food is delish!!! It is everything I expected. I haven't tasted good authentic Mexican food since Texas. It's been 3 yrs. I will for sure make this my to go spot for when I need my fix of Hispanic food. They have homemade tortillas. Their chips are the good thinner and crispy type. Their grilled shrimp and grilled fish are very savory in the flavor. The Micheladas are the best micheladas I've tasted yet.... and I hate Micheladas lol. I'm more of a liquor drinker. The strawberry margarita you have to try!!! It is also the best!!! The carnitas plate is great. We also got the Chile relleno and enchilada plate, that was great too. I do recommend yall coming during a weekday so u can enjoy the atmosphere and food better cause I hear that weekends get...
Read moreFood was great. Service was terrible. Our server was not very nice the entire time we were there. In the menu there is a meal that is one beef and one chicken enchilada with red sauce, and another with 2 chicken enchiladas with green sauce topped with cheese and sour cream. I ordered the 2 chicken enchilada meal but wanted red sauce instead. So when the food comes out and i didnt get sour cream i asked for the sour cream that was supposed to be included. The bill comes and im charged for it. When brought up and asked said server she very rudely said the red sauce meal doesnt come with it. Well the red sauce meal was 1 chicken and 1 beef. So clearly that is not what i ordered, so she messed up and rudely blamed us. Now, its not about the charge, its about the rudeness...
