Los Reyes Mexican Food — Restaurant in California

This is my second review of this restaurant--again, so I could boast, as it has never let me down. The menu is extraordinary. The menu is complete with the full range of typical standard selections, quesadillas, tacos and burritos-- including the American favorite, crispy tacos; the seafood selections occupy an entire page; there is a complete section dedicated to breakfast (served all day); included they offer several different soups--Pozole to Birria, consomme of Birria and not a soup but more a "specialty dish', Menudo. A good thing is that such items are not limited to the weekend. One of my newfound favorites are chivo--or goat--tacos made with the Birria meat. As for the establishment, it is always very clean. The staff is attentive and helpful, not to mention bi-lingual. There are two "non-intrusive" television sets which usually feature soccer games. I loved this place the 1st 2 times but thia last time was the time that ruins businesses! Lousy and poor service is an understatement. Only 4 people here when we arrived and got attitude from our server. Ordered a water and a diet coke and she brings us a can and a bottled water.....no cups with ice as the other 4 had on the table and at the bar and we ordered guacamole with chips and never got it. Oir server looked annoyed to help us.....and went in the back to text while waiting for help. The food is usually awesome here but tonight it was terrible. Over cooked chicken fajitas and usually a ton of onions and bell peppers but tonight......hardly any! It was a joke! Sad to be treated so poorly. Maybe she didnt like gringos.......never going...

got on my Harley-Davidson and went for food pickup the service was terrible don't know why,I walked in and everyone just stared at me as i worked my way to the counter this man stopped me and told me to have a seat and he would be right with me,well i went to the table he pointed to but i didn't sit down as i told him I was there for pickup not concerned about me he continued socializing with the 3 men drinking at the counter. After standing there for a while I was thinking about leaving and the daughter stepped in and saved the day. She brought my order and I gave her a $5 tip told her that was for her only she smiled and...
