I bought a bunch of fruit, including already pealed and sliced papaya. I purchased near closing time. I drove home to Brentwood about 25 minutes away as I was putting away the fruit we noticed the papaya was not in the bag. Too late to call since they were already closed. A week later we were nearby and decided to buy more persimmons. We told the clerk of the missing papaya. She asked for a receipt. I told her we didn't have it anymore. We moved into the area a few months ago; came here by recommendation from my cousin who is from the area. I was greatly disappointed, especially after a lot of hype. Not a lot of grocery selection but little of what they did have was good; the prices, however, not so great. I was pleased with their wide selection of sweet potatoes and yams, and impressed that they had several sliced in the pile so you can see the color inside. $6 for a small head of lettuce?? Yikes!!! I love Bill's Ranch. I was able to pick up tomatoes for 99 cents a pound. Yellow squash for a dollar a bag. Green and yellow peppers a dollar a bag.
