Marina Cafe — Restaurant in California

My in-laws have a house at PML and we have been coming to the marina for over 10 years. The marina snack shack, now the "lakeside cafe", used to be a nice quick spot with affordable prices, a great menu with good fresh sandwiches, cold drinks, tasty malts and cold treats. The type of place you looked forward to going back to. Now they have soggy pre-made sandwiches, soft serve that tastes like cardboard and a few other fried foods from Cysco that make you feel sick after you eat. The employees always seem overwhelmed and confused. Be prepared to wait at least half an hour for your food and count on at least one item...

Beautiful spot that I wish we visited earlier during our stay! It was a perfect place to spend a hot 90+ degree day, under the shade of trees and next to the water.

It's concessions stand type food but the hamburger is better than I imagined it would be! Onion rings are a must too. Spicy chicken burger was okay but I would pass on the black bean burger which was too salty.

This place has really gone downhill. They’ve removed milkshakes from the menu and now only offer burgers, hot dogs, and chicken strips—snack food at best, and way overpriced for the limited selection. The outdoor seating is entirely in the sun with no shade, and the tables were dirty. I had to ask staff four times before someone came out with a single disinfectant wipe.
