REPUBLIC — Restaurant in California

I do frequent here because everything has always been 5 star service. Lastnight however was a different story I met my husband and son in law there for some wings before I showed up and a very rude and inconsiderate female took it upon her self to sit with them hitting on the both of them my husband told her you need get off our table because my wife is going to get here and with all the things you are saying she will be very upset and you don't want that she eventually leaves the table as she hopped over to another table doing same. So I get there with my 7 year old and oldest daughter 5 minutes after I sit down she shows up at the other end of our table and points to my husband saying, " which one is your wife" i respond with im right here how can I help you, she comes over and gets way way to close in my face touching me telling me that my husband told her that I'm disrespectful to other women as I told her ok you need not to touch me and back up she did remove her hands, but I was pushing my little girls seat back because I don't know what this woman's intentions are so she puts her hands on her chair and starts to push her seat and while doing that she was able to get closer to me like she was when she 1st approached me. I was not ok with that and I got off my chair to stand in front of my daughter telling her, " No you don't touch anywhere near my child now back up right now and leave my table " well the pregnant server and my husband also gets up to assist that women because she didn't seem to want to listen when I told her to back up so my husband as he is approaching tells her I asked you guys earlier to get her out and you continued to serve her more alcohol and now look the server then yells " I'm sick of the complaining and I'm pregnant I'm pregnant! As she looks at me like if I'm the problem! 1st of all if your pregnant why are you putting yourself in this situation as you know that women has been aggressive before I got there , there was 2 other servers and male bartender as well and don't scream at me like that I'm having to stand guard for my child because I don't know that women nor by her actions will I allow anyone to do what she was doing when it's the Republics responsibility to 86 people who are harrasing there customers not let her go sit at the bar and continue to serve her drinks or allow anyone to purchase some for her , there was 3 other tables with families there plus mine and 2 people at the bar so it wasn't busy a easy fix, she even sat down at another table as the man's wife went to the restroom she sat in her seat and was coming on to him. So my incident was not the only one. It's very upsetting that not one employee there made her leave , this is not only a bar but it's a place where people bring there families and children just like last night and there should be no exceptions to having to deal with an adult who can't handle her alcohol or herself. Me and my husband have been coming here for geez more then 10 years we also bring in customers we tip very well my dad and brothers have been going here longer then I have and I couldn't even eat I ate 2 wings and my little girl was crying worried about that women coming back to our table as she was allowed to sit at the bar and us behind her. I feel I just wasted 100 bucks for at a place that just didn't care to follow the laws nor respect for the customers especially regulars. Came to try this out with my husband for the first time and was greeted by a pregnant waitress. As we walked in tables were full and the ones that were empty were dirty! She told us to sit wherever knowing there was literally no tables open. I understand they were busy but she didn't even try and clean any off for us. My husband and I were both standing there looking for a table and just went back to the front to wait. Then, a couple in their 40's came in and stood behind us. The same waitress greeted them and immediately started cleaning off a table for them! Since I saw she was cleaning off the table I proceeded to sit myself . Little did I know she was cleaning off the table for that couple and that couple only that came in AFTER us ! She even told the man "I can sit you right here" , which I didn't hear in the moment. My husband saw while I was sitting at the table that she kept staring at me and making faces because I guess I wasn't supposed to sit there?? We had gotten there first , no one tried to clean a table off for us and we felt very unacknowledged! Keep in mind my husband and I are both in our 20's and I too am pregnant but she favored the other couple. We felt misjudged and not welcomed at all. Posting a 2 star because although the food is good, the customer service is trash, I've only ate from there once and the first time I ordered an order for pick up, got there and it took a while for any of the 2 ladies to even look at me standing right in front of them on a SLOW day mind you. I had told them I placed an order online and one of the ladies said they didn't receive any orders. I showed her my confirmation and she looked at what I'm guessing is where they get their online orders and told me that they could start it now but it'll be awhile. I said okay and she said next time to call to let them know ?? Even then I HAD called 3 times and no answer, honestly just their whole vibe was off-putting like they just didn't even wanna be there. Second time I did the same thing ordered online, called, no answer, sent my husband to go get the order and again no order placed ! I gave my husband the confirmation number and he said that the lady kept saying that there was no order, and he was saying that she was being very rude to him so he just left. As I was about to head over there when I got an email saying that Republic declined my order AFTER my husband just had talked to the lady saying there was "no order". Crazy. Just a horrible...
