I was very happy with my experience! We were initially heading to the Fernwood Tavern because they offered vegan options but they were closed, so the nearest open place was this cute restaurant!
The staff is so warm and friendly, they didn’t speak a lot asking superficial questions but you could feel it in their warm smiles and kind looks/eyes. I said that I’m vegan and what can I have for breakfast and was offered an avocado toast and sautéed veggies without eggs. I know, the veggies from the veggie omelette without eggs don’t sound very exciting but I didn’t have much choice but let me tell you - they did everything from the bottom of their heart, or they are just very good with cooking. Veggies were caramelized and very flavorful — my non-vegan friend was enjoying them too. My grapefruit juice was delicious too.
I left satisfied and happy. The interior is very cute and warm and cozy. They have beautiful art of Big Sur on the walls made in Vang Gogh style with long strokes. Apparently, it’s the owners friend who passed away gifted to him - such a nice sentiment.
Sorry I didn’t make many pictures but I do suggest to check out this place with nice people...

8am to 2pm. Breakfast all day. 11am adds a lunch menu.
"Someone really knows how to make some blueberry pancakes" from the 14 year old.
"Great crispy quality bacon, great eggs, don't usually.like hashbrowns" from the 10 year old.
The 8 year old says "very fluffy, in a good way" about the pancakes.
The fresh salsa that went with the avocado + sour cream + breakfast burrito was so good. In rare form, the burrito had more egg than potatoes, which this foodie says is the mark of a stand out B-Burito.
See pictures for Breakfast, Lunch, and To-Go menus. Then stop in and enjoy.
PS - Greatest joke ever, in the bathroom, with the towel dryer. I know, your totally curious...
Read moreI waited outside and watched the jays and hummingbirds flutter around their garden patio until they opened at 8am. I was the first to be greeted and kindly invited in to sit anywhere. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I got the eggs and chorizo with fresh corn tortillas and everything was great. I love when the meat is diced and mixed into any egg dish, and this was done so perfectly. The coffee (black) was good and they always offered refills and then a to-go cup when I hadn’t finished my last cup. I also got a veggie and egg scramble with hash browns and a muffin to-go, which came out fast and hot. I may come back here...
