They were two restaurants Spanish Bay we met one of the employees and he explained Roy's was a little more casual type food and he was right. After looking at both menus this was the perfect pick and for us glad we went here. We had tempura vegetables for our appetizer which came with carrots and asparagus and other different vegetables but had never had asparagus with tempera veggies to say the least they were perfect perfectly cooked so good and the sauce with them was excellent. We both had iced teas which was good. My main course was pork fried rice and my thought it was going to come like Chinese for fried rice wood not at all it had a pulled pork on top of a tower of fried rice it was so tender and so delicious I was amazed I had to push myself away so I wouldn't eat too much and there was a lot two or three people could have ate off my plate. My wife had the ginger soy marinated teriyaki chicken which was also amazing so tender and juicy. It was our 35th wedding anniversary on October 8th and we started talking to a couple right next to us and their anniversary was on the exact same day just 3 years earlier. When the wait staff heard they brought us over a beautiful dessert that said happy anniversary. The people there were so wonderful The service was fantastic we even had a little bunny come up on the grass to the side of us why we were eating they have a big piece of glass that keeps the wind from hitting you from the ocean while you're eating out on the beautiful patio. It is a definite must go to and eat while you're down there you will definitely enjoy it I guarantee you.

Overall, the food was excellent with a good selection of wines. We started with Spanish crispy octopus, which was huge and perfectly grilled. The meat was tender but not chewy, indicating it was cooked just right. The specially prepared spicy sauce with a topping of peanuts was delicious. The simpler spring rolls with shrimp and beef, dipped in sweet and spicy Thai-style chili sauce, were appetizing. We also ordered the hamachi tartare; it was fresh and cut into perfect bite-sized pieces. A sprinkle of light soy and yuzu sauce made this dish very flavorful. My favorite was the scallops, which provided layers of flavor from the seaweed and scallops in each mouthful—truly tasty and full of umami! The sushi roll was a good starter for sharing, making us want more. However, the grilled Brussels sprouts were overcooked and too hard to chew. For the main course, we had the grilled halibut with onion rings, grilled cod fish on rice, and I chose the smoked ahi tuna with rice. Paired with a red wine of our choice and served by Ron, our attentive waiter, it was a great combination. The view from our outside seating overlooked the Pebble Beach 18th hole, accompanied by a lovely Scottish piping performance.

On 04/11/2024 we had a great dinner, with one of the best views in the Pebble Beach area. Watching the sunset from that corner table, (which has to be the best view in this place,) was a great experience. The drinks, the food, and the presentation was fantastic, and it’s because the entire staff was great! Special thanks to our waiter Jesus, (he was also our server at breakfast at a different place that morning,) we explained the situation that morning at breakfast, and that it was our first time vacationing in the area, and how we were not impressed with the tourist attraction type of restaurants that dotted the local area. He suggested that we come to Roy’s for dinner. Great suggestion too. Thank you Jesus! He took a couple extra minutes with us at breakfast, and during dinner also. Truly one of a kind human. It’s always better when people working in hospitality will focus on the details… and customers. During our dining experience at Roy’s, he was very busy, yet he was attentive to every table, and every customer. It creates a great atmosphere! Money well spent…! We’ll be back.

Beautiful view, great ambience, delicious food, not so great service. We all went here to celebrate the completion of my sister-in-law's house remodel. We got here a few minutes early so we started off with drinks in the lobby - good drinks. The view is of the Monterey Bay, but at the world famous 17 Mile drive. We loved the view. The restaurant had windows all around and you can see everything (except for the fact that we came on a foggy evening). I'm somewhat of a sushi snob and I ordered the volcano roll. Boy, was it delicious. The desserts were also delicous and they did a fantastic job plating them. The downside was the service. They made a critical error - that is not providing my cocktail after I asked a few times. In fact I ordered my cocktail when we were placing the order and I had to ask for it four times until it was delivered. It came after my appetizer and my dinner arrived. I got a lame excuse that the bar was confused and gave away my drink to someone else. Overall the experience was okay.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Roy's in Pebble Beach recently and it was absolutely perfect! The location is incredibly stunning, right on the famed 17 Mile Drive with views of the ocean stretching off into the horizon. We opted to go for their tasting menu, which was truly memorable. Every course was flawlessly prepared and presented with a delicacy that you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The flavors were complex yet perfectly balanced, blending together to form a culinary experience we won't soon forget. All in all, my family and I highly recommend Roy's at Pebble Beach for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. With its prime location surrounded by breathtaking scenery, delicious food crafted by expert chefs, and exemplary service - it cannot be beaten!

Had a delicious dinner with a great view and an amazing 16 oz Wagyu steak tonight.i was with a party of 16 for someones 60th birthday celebration and after our tab was closed i went to the bar to order a after dinner cocktail on my own check and was told i could not order a drink from the bar since i ate in the restaurant and that i needed to order the drink from our server .I only had two drinks at dinner and do not understand why i couldn't order a third drink to enjoy around the fire pit.needless to say i will spend my money every week at other restaurants such as Grasings in carmel and the whaling station or schooners in monterey .sorry guys but you definitely lost a return local guest tonight that was looking forward to returning for dinner next weekend.
