I am thrilled to share my 5-star review for Steaming Seafood, a culinary gem that delivers exceptional dishes and out-of-this-world portions, especially when it comes to their incredible General Tso Chicken. This place has truly surpassed my expectations with their amazing food and generous offerings.
To start with, their General Tso Chicken is a true masterpiece. The chicken is perfectly cooked, tender on the inside, and delightfully crispy on the outside. The sauce is a harmonious blend of sweet and tangy flavors, complementing the succulent chicken pieces flawlessly. Every bite is a burst of deliciousness that leaves me craving more. The attention to detail in preparing this dish is evident, and it stands as a testament to the culinary expertise Steaming Seafood possesses.
Additionally, one cannot overlook the generous proportions that Steaming Seafood provides. Each order of General Tso Chicken is more than enough to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. I have been consistently impressed by the substantial amount of chicken and the abundance of accompanying vegetables they include, ensuring that every dish is a complete and satisfying meal. From family dinners to gatherings with friends, Steaming Seafood's portion sizes make it an easy choice for any occasion.
Furthermore, the overall experience at Steaming Seafood is exceptional. The staff members are friendly, accommodating, and always ready to provide recommendations or answer any questions. The restaurant itself boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal. Whether dining in or opting for takeout, I have always received my food in a timely manner, and it arrives hot and fresh.
Finally, the varied menu at Steaming Seafood offers a wide selection of mouthwatering options. While the General Tso Chicken may be their standout dish, there are numerous other seafood and non-seafood options to cater to every palate. From shrimp dishes to crab legs, from vegetarian options to delectable desserts, Steaming Seafood truly has something for everyone, ensuring that all guests find their perfect meal.
In conclusion, Steaming Seafood deserves every bit of praise for their amazing General Tso Chicken and generous portions. Their commitment to delivering outstanding food and providing satisfying portion sizes sets them apart from the rest. Read moreBOILING SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, MARYSVILLE: My family and I would bypass this restaurant for quite a while, because we had previously had unpleasant experiences with the previous Chinese restaurant. Tonight, looking for something different, we looked at Google reviews and most said the new place was much better. So, we decided to try it again. Tonight, we opted for Chinese instead of sea food. I had the fried pork steak, fried rice, and pot stickers. My husband had curry chicken and I shared up the pork and pot stickers. As far as it goes most places don't put enough curry in the dish. He doesn't even think those kinds taste like curry, but tonight he found out that this place seasons the curry more authentically, so that he, could, at least, taste the appropriate amount of seasoning. My pork was awesome! The meat was tender and tasty, it didn't need any salt or seasonings; the house fried rice, did, however, need seasoning-- definitely needed salt--so I added a little soy sauce. The pot stickers were much better than most places that serve pot stickers in the Marysville area. They were crispier and tastier; but the dipping sauce was extremely salty, almost too salty to taste and use--I simply used less. I included pictures from most areas of the restaurant, which as you can see has fairly nice décor. As I was coming in to pick up my food, I was snapping a few quiet pictures, when the man at the counter stopped me from taking photos of that area. As you can see from the other photos, there is an ample free parking area, and it is easily accessible from the street. It''s also easily seen from the street. There is handicapped parking which has easy access for handicapped people to enter. UPDATE 05-31-18: I went for myself only tonight, a quick meal of broccoli beef and pot stickers. Quick review: AWESOME. The broccoli was cooked through, the beef, tender, the sauce, delicious and savory, AND the meal wasn't 90% broccoli(and I love broccoli)--there was plenty of meat. This is the best broccoli beef around, better than ANY in town, hands down. I give it 5...
Read moreMy fiancé and I decided to explore a new lunch spot, and after reading the rave reviews, we settled on the Steaming Crab restaurant in Linda, California. Eager to try something different, I opted for their Asian-inspired dishes, while my fiancé boldly ordered their renowned king crab legs. To our surprise, the food arrived promptly, mere minutes after placing our order. While my meal was decent, I would rate it about a 5 out of 10 considering the price. However, my fiancé's experience took a negative turn. Her crab legs arrived scorching hot, almost as if they had been microwaved. With just one bite, she immediately sensed that something was amiss. Curious, I took a taste, and it was evident that the crab was indeed spoiled.
Quietly, I beckoned our waitress over and shared our concerns. To our disbelief, she brushed off our complaint, claiming that it was impossible for any issues to arise since their crab legs were frozen. In an attempt to prove her point, she brought out a frozen crab leg that appeared discolored, its yellow hue nothing like the fresh and vibrant shellfish we should have received. Disappointed, I also noticed a lack of attention to our table, as I had to wait until it was time to leave before receiving a refill for my drink. It seemed that the entire staff was preoccupied with their own lunch, sitting in the middle of the restaurant.
Regrettably, I am compelled to leave a negative review given the unsatisfactory experience we had. Moreover, despite the hefty price tag of $56.50 for my fiancé's virtually inedible crab leg, we were not offered any...
