First time I am ordering from this restaurant. I called the restaurant and it took them a while to answer. I told the young gentleman who answered that I didn't have a menu so I will need his help to order. I wanted to order eggplant in basil with ground pork, but I ended up ordering beef since they don't sell pork meat at this restaurant. The other dish I ordered was Masaman curry with chicken. The order taker was in such a hurry to get me off the phone that he forgot to ask me the spice level of the food and that all the entries come with Jasmine rice and also forgot to provide my total. When I arrived, there were a few cars parked outside, one of the workers was sitting on a chair in front of the restaurant on his phone. I walked inside got my food and was looking forward to a tasty meal after reading all those reviews. I was not impressed with the food packaging, they overfilled the curry container instead of using a bigger one and it spilled as soon as I opened the lid. The curry was too runny for my taste and not enough flavor. The basil eggplant was not what it's supposed to be, it just didn't have the flavor and texture that I have...

Read moreThis place is at the end of a teeny tiny strip mall, a few doors down from the Dominos pizza. It is easy to miss, but it's worth finding. I've been there many times, both dine in and take out, and the food has never disappointed. Everything we've ordered has been very good.
We are fans of everything in the salad section, Nam Kao, Nuer num Thoke, Yum Goong, and Som Tum. We don't treat them as salad; we treat them more like lettuce wraps (except the Som Tum, which is very spicy and delicious). We have also had most of the rice plates and noodle dishes. The rice plates come with a generous portion of rice and meat, and the noodle dishes are a decent size. These are all quite tasty and worth a try, but the salad section is where this place shines (for us). The Mitchell's buko (young coconut) ice cream is nice.
