⭐ 5/5 — An Absolute Hidden Gem: Mafia Taco in San Miguel! ⭐

We stumbled upon Mafia Taco in San Miguel, and wow — what an incredible lunch experience!

Jeff ordered the Mafia Burrito from the menu, but he made it his own creation: half carne asada, half al pastor — and it was massive and absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor, perfectly cooked meats, and wrapped up in a burrito that could easily feed two (but of course, he finished it!).

I went with the chile relleno along with an al pastor taco and a carne asada taco — and let’s just say, we left no crumbs. Every bite was fantastic, from the perfectly roasted poblano pepper stuffed with cheesy goodness to the tender, juicy tacos bursting with flavor.

The chips and salsa were excellent, fresh and crispy, but we couldn’t resist asking for their extra hot salsa — and wow, it delivered! Full of flavor with just the right kick of heat, it elevated everything we were eating.

Also, we sat outside under a Mexican grass umbrella, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic and charming — the perfect setting to enjoy such delicious food.

By the end, we were so full we could barely breathe, but we were smiling ear to ear. Mafia Taco is a must-visit if you’re in San Miguel and looking for authentic, mouthwatering food. We can’t wait...

Took a quick bite to grab, with my family, at this little restaurant and let me tell you the food and atmosphere was just amazing. I had ordered the Large Burrito, and I had originally imagined it to be somewhat the size of a remote control, but let me tell you that burrito was definitely large. I literally was only able to finish at least a little over half of it, and I had to take it to go. Okay so the size was formidable, now came to the taste of the burrito. The fact that it was both a burrito and an enchilada completely blew my mind, because the taste was just so amazing that I literally would not want to stop taking another bite of that masterpiece. I'm a big fan of Salvadoran Horchata, but their Mexican Horchata was just as good! Literally if y'all want a real good spot to stop at and take a bite, I say stop at Taco Mafia and try their Large Burrito. It really it is...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taco Mafia, and let me tell you, it was a total fiesta for the taste buds! I ordered the Large Burrito and let me just say, it was a big hit. The sauce was bursting with flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection. It was so delicious, and their house salsa was excellent as well.

But the food wasn't the only thing that made this restaurant stand out. The staff were also top-notch. They were super friendly and made my family and I feel right at home. They even had some fun jokes and banter with us, which really added to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience and I would highly recommend Taco Mafia to anyone looking for some seriously delicious food. Just be...

We came in hungry and ready for tacos. I am Chicago raised and my husband from LA- cities with amazing Mexican food, so our standards were high. We ordered tacos de carne asada, pastor, and fish. The pastor meat was chunky chewy and stringy, with minimal flavor. We got pastor tacos because reviews said they were the best here, we liked these the least. The tacos de carne asada were overly beefy and chunky, again lacking flavor. Of the three the fish tacos were the easiest to eat. Husband said the best part of his tacos were the tortillas… the portions are extremely generous and they even give you chips and salsa, but now we’re stuck with two untouched tacos and two disappointed people.

Though it was a very off-route detour, discovering this treasure off the 101 was worth it. The staff was quite friendly, the decor inside matched the restaurant's unique theme, and, most importantly, the food was very delicious. Our meal consisted of their complimentary chips and salsa and many tacos. While the chips were a bit salty, they paired very well with the salsa. We ordered most of the tacos on their menu, finding them to be quite delicious and extremely filling, with the shrimp tacos being the best. Though we only asked for water, they do have the standard refreshments. All in all, this place is worth stopping by, if you are ever in this area.
