5 months later: Went for tacos Tuesdays. Chicken, carnitas and pastor tacos are $1.25. Pastor tacos are greasy with no flavor, carnitas are good but they were light on the meat, and the chicken were pretty much flavorless as well. The green salsa cups were a quarter full. We also ordered asada fries again and those were really the only thing delicious...again. IF we go back in the future, will only be for asada fries.
I tried this place because I seen it on Trendi Eats. The Quesatacos with consommè looked so delicious. I tried them and they were good: the barbacoa with the melted cheese was delicious but the tortillas were just ok. The tortillas were a little burnt and lop sided, so when I would picked them up to bite, the meat kept falling out. I tried to fix the tortilla but since they were fried, it cracked and the 2nd tortilla inside was soggy. The consommè was good but could of had more flavor. We also got the asada fries and those were tasty. Make sure you get your full order if you get it to go. We went back twice 😒. I will go back,...
Read moreFirst time trying their food and was horrible! Beans nasty no flavor, rice same, and the carnitas barely flavor. Burrito was mostly beans and creamy and just felt like holding a dirty diaper. That wasn’t a long line maybe 8-9 people but I’ve seen longer and just at a stand outside not a truck. And well must have been first timers or just stopping by cuz it was close by. Not going to bother with coming here again after that experience. Maybe they will cook better and serve better food another day but wow can’t believe it. El centenario has better food even on bad days,...
Read moreI’ll give an honest review as someone whose been coming here for the past 5-7 years and i hope the owner (who i respect is a man of God) sees this and improves off my critiques. Today I ordered the quesaritto, which is a pretty big burrito for what you pay for but the problem is it’s so big that it fell apart when you try it hold it; flavor was meh. 2 weeks ago I tried the carne asada curly fries, large portion but again the flavor was meh. The owner clearly cares about the quantity/size over quality of flavor. If I were to recommend something to the owner is focus on reducing the size of your food and focus more on quality and flavor.
The tacos are honestly the only thing worth getting (which is why I’m not giving a 1...
