After driving by this place for months, and wondering if it was good or not, I decided to go here with my family for my birthday dinner. We were seated at 6 pm on Friday, and ordered quickly because we were hungry. We ordered two different cheeseburgers, a French dip, and the chardonnay chicken(which we were taking to go). Anyways, after several inquires of where our food was it came out 45 minutes later. The burgers were decent and the French dip had a huge chunk of fat in it that wasn’t edible. About half way through our meal we asked the waitress to make sure they were preparing the to go order because we didn’t want to wait even longer after we finished eating. She said she put in the order, but after several inquires of when our to go order would be ready, she came to our table and said that there were still 6 orders ahead of ours. Anyways, we told her just to cancel the to go order because we didn’t want to wait 30 more minutes for it, since we already finished eating. To top it off, the bill included an 18% gratuity for just 3 diners. I always tip a lot, but usually a tip like this is for when they help 6 or more people, not just 3 people. Plus to be honest, the waitress didn’t deserve the 18% tip. Anyways, I paid my bill with the included tip, and left. I would never come here again or refer any of my friends or family to come here either. This was one of the worse dining experiences...
Read moreWent for a management meeting, as we often do. A few of us ordered the steak sandwich special, it was HORRIBLE! So Gristly and chewy, I asked for steak sauce and the waitress brought me an empty bottle that was all corroded with old dried-up sauce. then the whole table said their fries were hard and over cooked. there was a broken piece of toothpick in my sandwich and when I told the waitress she didn't say one word! Not even sorry... I told her to show it to the chef and she still said nothing. My coworker ordered the French toast which was served cold and the smashed fruit blueberries and raspberries were mushy and had the juice running all in her scrambled eggs. The syrup was served ice cold straight out of the fridge! She did not eat one bite she said it was horrible as well and the sausage was cold and undercooked. This is so disappointing since it is such a convenient location to hold meetings. Ever since Veronica left the service has not been the same. I feel like the servers should have looked at all of our full plates and asked if there was something wrong. I also think the chef needs training on plating food and cooking gristle steak and burnt fries, I could go on and on but what the use. Last month we went there for a meeting, and we asked for ketchup and was served ketchup in a bottle that said, "tomato blood" FROM HALLOWEEN!! It...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant with a group of 13 for lunch, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. We were excited about the steak sandwich special, but it fell short. The fries were hard, almost as if they had been over-fried, and the steak was tough and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, one of our guests bit into a piece of a toothpick that was used to hold the sandwich together, which was quite concerning.
Another guest ordered the French toast, which was served cold, along with the syrup. Because of this, she could not eat it.
The service was average at best. One of the servers provided incomplete information about the sandwich ingredients, only mentioning grilled onions and mayo. When the sandwich arrived, it also had lettuce and tomato, which we weren’t informed about beforehand. Additionally, we were not asked how we wanted our steak cooked, which affected our meal experience.
The atmosphere was another letdown. The restaurant was empty, and the loud music made it difficult to have a conversation. When we requested the volume be turned down, our request was initially ignored, and we had to ask a second time before the volume was adjusted.
Overall, this visit did not live up to our expectations, and we hope the restaurant can address these issues to improve future dining...
