I'd used to go to the 21st location very often but the wait time used to be unreal. I'd call 15 minutes before even leaving work in EC, get there and still wait another 20 minutes. Listen that was before the pandemic(so you got an idea how long I've been supporting regardless of poor customer service), I recently tried the Broadway location Friday then again Sunday evening and I'd do anything to wait that unrealistic time for good food. My fries were undercooked and chicken EXTREMELY salty and over fried. Some meaty parts were translucent as well like over cooked or cooked twice hard. I’ve eaten and ordered from places that also make things “fresh” and “as it’s ordered” I’m also all for supporting black businesses but I HAVE NEVER ever waited over an hour for my food as consistently as these people have you waiting. Not only do you wait FOREVER… they LIE about the time it takes.. I thought I had learned to give them about a half hour longer than they tell you.. boy was I wrong. I called @6:40p she says about 20/25 min so I left to get my order at 7:30p.. I walked in she tells me about 7 more minutes. I gave 10 .. walked back in and she says 2 more minutes!! Read moreMy 1st visit and the WORST experience. It took almost an 1 1/2 hours for 2 items : fried shrimp and a wrap. I waited patiently and after I had been waiting an hour and 15 min, I went to the counter to buy a pepsi. Before I could say anything the cook screamed at me that I needed to wait and they would call me when my food was ready. What type of customer service is that? They didn't even know what I wanted. I requested a refund at that point, and again the cook rudely said "Not from here, she need to call Door Dash!"
