I recently had the pleasure of dining at Primal Barbeque, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food, for the most part, was delicious, and the service provided was exceptional. However, I must admit that I found their brisket portions to be rather small, which left me yearning for more.
Let me start by commending Primal Barbeque for their exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by their attentive and friendly staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Now, let's talk about the food. The flavors and craftsmanship showcased in their dishes were truly impressive. The tender and succulent meats, coupled with the delectable sauces, were a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs. I particularly enjoyed the sides, as they perfectly complemented the main courses. The variety and quality were evident, and I appreciated the attention to detail.
However, I must express my disappointment with the portion size of the brisket. While the flavors were outstanding, the amount of brisket served left me wanting more. Given the high standard set by the other dishes, I had hoped for a more generous portion to fully savor the tender and smoky goodness of their renowned brisket.
In addition, while the sides were generally excellent, I personally found the Frito pie to be a bit underwhelming. The combination of flavors did not quite resonate with my taste buds as I had hoped. However, I understand that personal preferences vary, and it may still be enjoyed by others who appreciate a unique twist on this classic dish.
Despite these minor setbacks, I cannot stress enough the exceptional service provided by the staff at Primal Barbeque. Their attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine passion for the food they serve truly elevated my dining experience and left a lasting impression.
In conclusion, while Primal Barbeque delivers on taste and exemplary service, I would encourage them to consider offering more generous portions of their delectable brisket. Additionally, a slight adjustment to the Frito pie recipe might enhance its appeal to a wider range of palates. I would gladly return to Primal Barbeque for their outstanding flavors and impeccable service, and I look forward to experiencing their continued...
Read moreSo ya, where to begin ........we loved the bbq when it was primal bbq, now trying the taco joint.......we will not bother trying it a 2nd time. We got takeout, they said 15min, my husband was there literally 15min later. Yet all the food was cold. Not warm, cold like it had been prepared earlier today and they took the bacon out and slapped it in a cold taco shell. We ordered burnt ends, we got brisket. Cold, dry, no flavor brisket. These are 2 different things. We ordered a kids bowl, rice with chicken. I weighed the chicken, they gave us maybe 2 cups of rice with 1oz of chicken. The molcajete salsa was just weird. We ordered things as well, but they also did not warrant mentioning. Veggie tacos, etc. Everything was bland with no flavor. Really thick, slightly creamy, and bland. Camano stanwood needed another taco joint the same way we needed another Thai place or bakery.....go back to actual BBQ. Will not be back or...
Read moreFront of house is phenomal. She cares about the restaurant, she is sweet and is working her tail off.
The food is good (our brisket was the consistency of somewhat being boiled) but the sausage and sides were phenomenal.
Here is my issue… they have the food for a few “combo” which has a huge flaw.
It’s 50$ plus tax for two sides of meat (1/2 lb) and three sides.
We got sausage (8$), brisket (16$), Mac and cheese (8$), potato salad (4.50$) and elote (5$) which comes out to be 41.50. We our 9$ more for our “combo deal” than it would have been to pay for them originally.
When the portions came out we thought it was a joke. Please change the recommendation that it can feed 3-4 people, it’s absolutely untrue and misleading.
For the location and options it’s a good way to go, but based on the experience price wise, I would...
