I had Karnival foods booked on April 28th, 2024 for an event on August 10th, 2024 and this poor excuse of a company did NOT show up for one of the biggest events of my life (my wedding). In the beginning, Karnival foods was very communicative and eventually became worse and worse. We spoke the day before the wedding on August 9th, 2024 to be sure we were on track and everything was set, I was assured that he was set and ready to attend our event with his specific time. Just to be let down when the time had come. Family members tried to call several times, I left several text messages and nothing! I even tried calling several days after the event to get some sort of explanation to why Karnival foods did not show up for this event. It is now August 20th, 2024 I have yet to hear anything back. My recommendation to anyone considering booking Karnival Foods for an important event, please book with someone more reputable, maybe someone with more experience; who is organized and would never do this to their customers. There are other black owned Businesses out there who are more organized and professional.

In response: Karnival foods, My hope to the other small businesses watching you is that they learn from your mistakes and not lie on costumers the way you’re doing to me. As an educator I teach my students the value of using their voices and stand up for what is right. I was told I could pay upon arrival ($500 cash for 50 funnel cakes) and was even assured Karnival Foods would be there for one of the biggest events in my life. Unfortunately, this was the start of many lies to come. If what you’re saying is true than why was I not made aware when the conversation was had the day prior and I could have made other arrangements. I should have never been assured that Karnival Foods was going to be at my event and should have never been told I “could pay upon arrival” if you knew you were not planning on showing up. The only reason I gave a 1 star was because the system would not allow me to put zero stars. This company no showed for my daughters wedding after being reminded the day before. ONE day before the wedding the gentleman stated that he would be there. I would suggest you go with a company that has better memory or less amnesia symptoms because this is just terrible for business. They still have not answered phones…..what a disgrace.

AGAIN You DO NOT NEED TO BE a paying customer to observe how poorly your business is run. Now feel feee to erase and hide your mess from the public but what a shame. Please be honest the public deserves for you not to lie again YOU said we pay the day of however YOU NO SHOWED. So common sense I can’t pay if you do not show up period. I know mistakes happen and I’ve never needed a company to complete me. It’s about making the public aware of our experiences. If that means giving you your first one start then that’s what it is. Use it to better yourself. Everyone has an off day I guess...

MUST BOOK

I booked this ford truck for my daughter’s 1st birthday carnival theme party and it was a hit!! I had nothing but great remarks regarding the food and the service. They traveled down to south Jersey to accommodate over 40 guests. The food was delicious and served professionally. The wings, mozzarella sticks were delicious and the shrimps were amazing! Fried Oreos were bombbbb! They even had water ice! I’d highly recommend booking with them.

Professionalism 10/10 Food quality 10/10 Pricing is very reasonable and won’t break your pockets.

As a first time mom I wanted to enjoy my daughter’s 1st birthday and thanks to the owner of Karnival Food truck I was able to do just that! They parked up and were ready to start serving within 40 minutes of arrival. I didn’t need to worry about nothing.

Not only that BUT they were also so generous to us, they even bought the birthday girl a gift! I was so incredibly shocked they went above and beyond to get something for my girl.
