Great place, my server was amazingly nice and sweet. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with a chicken and dumplings soup with cheddar cheese in it. Everything was pretty good and the price for everything came to 14.60 so i say that’s pretty fair. Considering how much McDonald’s charges for food, this route you get more and great service. The restaurant is Harry Potter themed, which is cool i like it. Yes i would recommend Yes i would and hopefully will eat here again.

The food was good and the staff were friendly. My wife got a party melt and I got the Hawaiian melt. Both sandwichs were good. I also ordered the empanadas and it comes as a meal. It tasted like tamalas and it was smothered with a white which is not how I am used to having them. Usually it is a finger food. The empanadas tasted good but not what I was expecting.

My first time there . It was very warm feeling . Felt like home the staff was very friendly and courteous . The food was outstanding . Had a mushroom and ham omelette (it was loaded) hashbrowns and toast . My wife had the crepes . Everything was delicious ..

Harry Potter “theme” looks like a teenagers room with posters hung on some of the walls and some random Harry Potter items for sale. Seated quickly but waited for waters & soda quite a while. Waitress was not overly knowledgeable or friendly. Thought they were going to turn us away at first when we walked in and one server turned to another mentioning our “large” group of 6! Had someone with a food allergy & vegetarian so asking what kind of oil they use and if they have separate baskets to fry meats from fries & curds was like pulling teeth and she couldn’t answer. Both are fairly common questions now days. 1/6 meals were “ok”. Menu is all over the place with Italian, American, Greek, French and none of them they cook well. Kids pizza is pita with what tasted like BBQ sauce and a slice of Swiss or white American cheese melted on top. I had to give my meal to the child who was expecting something similar to either taste look like pizza. “Famous” roast beef looked like sandwich meat boiled and covered with way too much gravy. Alfredo, chicken Alfredo, and spaghetti all had different noodles. Salad bar looked old and inedible. Our meals that came with salad were basically salad soup with all the wilted vegetable water and each with a different accompanying vegetable, one had tomatoes, one had cucumbers and one had no veggies at all. Aren’t these prepared in a prep line, why so inconsistent? They’re prepping these way too early and should be tossed after a specific amount of time in the cooler. There is no consistency to any of the menu items they put on a table. You’d think 3 pastas (2 of which were Alfredo would look similar). Crepes were “ok”. The best thing we ate were the cookies a young woman walked around handing out after the meal (also quite odd for a restaurant) which are normally for sale in the cooler so maybe they were old? We were all a little unsure if we would end up with GI upset after. Nothing was expensive or overpriced but for the quality of the food it shouldn’t be. Would recommend if all you were getting was a cup of coffee, a cookie or maybe ice cream sandwich sold from one of their gas station style coolers? I could go on

Would also like to add that after reading other reviews it’s sad the place takes no accountability. They either argue with your review or say “have a blessed day” I hope they take steps to fix the things customers complain about. Like, even a baked tortilla with your spaghetti sauce and some shredded cheese is better than a pita and sliced white cheese. Create a smaller menu that your staff can handle and educate them in the way items are prepared. We should have asked to speak to owner right there but with the time it took for the servers to decide IF they would seat us, get beverages, have BASIC questions answered, receive and pick through edible food, get our bill and pay we were running too far behind. Gordon Ramsey would have a blast...

If I could give zero stars, I would. Went there yesterday with a couple of good friends to wrap up an amazing weekend together since I live out of town and don't get to see them much. The server was kind enough to give us a warning for a 45min wait on our food. We all had no problem with that. After an hour, our food finally came. Though mine was alright, my friend didn't get what she ordered and was nice enough to ask the server to either get a new one or to not charge her for the wrong order. A few minutes went by and the server came back to tell my friend that they would NOT make her a new omelette, nor take it off her bill. The staff told her to just pick the mushrooms off. The simple request made from my friend escalated very quickly as a cook walked out to throw his hands in my friends face and yell at her. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever witnessed and hope to never see again. My friends and I are very understanding and were willing to wait another hour for my friend to get a new omelette. However, that wasn't a choice given and unfortunately our experience turned horrible quickly. We ended up walking out and left enough money for the food that was made correctly. I am sorry for the waitress who tried and was put in a horrible situation. I will NEVER come back...

The food won't blow you away, however, it is of a decent value and decent quality. I'll give credit where it's due, they poach their eggs for their benedicts and we have never had a "bad" meal here. They have a VERY affordable fish fry on Fridays and their breakfasts are legit.

Service is always solid with real 90s diner vibes. Again, nothing mind blowing but in our years going there we've never had terrible service which is more than I can say for other venues in Barron County.

Atmosphere is odd. It is clearly a highway diner but is littered with Harry Potter memorabilia. It isn't off-putting by any means but you'll remember it.

Overall it's a small town diner with small town fares like fish fry, burgers, and lot's of breakfast options. If you have a choice between here and the new Denny's, you wanna pick Crossroads and save yourself money and eat the same...
