We are here twice in one week because circumstance had me rescuing a stranded friend who was on her way to visit me in E. GA from NWFL when her car broke down.

Service wasv fantastic birth times. Our server on Thursday wore a mask, which we appreciated. Today, our server did not.

The food on Thursday was ABSOLUTELY delicious. I had the pork chop special and ask array of sides that were all perfectly prepared. My friend had the smoked chicken and a couple different sides.

Today (Saturday) we returned and the food was good, but not great. I got my fave sides from the previous visit (Cole slaw, baked beans, okra) and none of it was prepared as well as earlier in the week. The cole slaw tasted like it just have been the bottom of the barrel from the start of the week, because it was so obliterated that the texture was akin to mush, rather than the nice crispy slaw with bright flavors I had been expecting. And no, it wasn't the mayo - I'd already had their recipe and lived it once. The baked beans were good, but again tasted like leftovers rather than something prepared for that day. The okra today had heavier breading and was cooked longer than it should have been - it was too soft and didn't have the crisp bite that our okra earlier in the week had. The chipped pork was overcooked... Again, leftovers?

Our first visit had sparked our interest and given us a taste of a really great southern BBQ dinner. And the follow up made us feel like we were unwanted, unwelcome guests. :/

I don't know if this is a difference in kitchen stay on the two days, or if they really served us leftovers from earlier in the week. Either way, we're glad there are other options in town for the next time we have to...

We don't stop for BBQ outside of Texas very often but this place had enough other choices and good reviews so we stopped. Diane got the the catfish (you can get it whole or fillets) special and had it fried crisp. The fillets were large and of good thickness. They did make sure they were crisp as requested. The breading was lite with really good flavor. The fish itself also had good flavor, tender and flaky. The fries they brought with it were cold but when told they fried a new batch that was very good. I went ahead and decided to try the BBQ with a three meat plate of ribs, brisket and chicken. I came with baked beans and homemade potato salad. I didn't notice ahead of time that their sauce was a mustard base of which I don't care for but I tried it anyway. The chicken was fall off the bone tender with just the right amount of smoke flavor. The ribs were also fall off the bone tender and juicy. The brisket was also juicy and tender (obviously not fall off the bone😀) and the sauce, well, that's the first time I ever enjoyed a mustard sauce. The baked beans were thick and full of meat with great flavor. The homemade potato salad was chunky and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Except for the "service fee" it comes highly recommended two...

My first time going. I went on Sat morning 9-18-21 around 11:20 am..nice crowd with inside dining, friendly and fast service. The more time went by, the more patron's began to show up for lunch. I ordered fried shimp, Fried chicken bites with Sweet potato fries(The chicken bites were amazing). I also ordered a 4 bone rib with sweet potato fries and baked beans. Everything was delish..the beans had loads of meat in it. I am definitely coming back..I only live 35 mins away. It's worth the trip. Looks as if they are closed Sunday n Monday😔..Sunday they should be open, since its now Football season and people don't always like to cook Sundays..plus I come through Camilla, every other weekend so, Sat and Sun..is for my own selfish foodie needs..lol (Would do 5 stars but It was my first time, and I still have more to try and they aren't open on Sunday/Monday (I know they need a break though..but try Tuesday..nothing happens on a Tuesday)..according to Google...
