the food is alright and its not stupid expensive, and SOME of the staff are welcoming. but they are EXTREMELY slow to serve. a few days ago i sat outside in the parking lot for FOURTY, 40, MINUTES, waiting on ONE burger, and 3 chicken tenders. i had to actually go INSIDE to get my food, AND as it turns out it was already bagged up and just SITTING there on the counter, so either they just forgot about it, or genuinely thought i left when i parked RIGHT OUTSIDE their drive thru window. AND ONTOP OF THAT, i was the first one there! and i watched how many people walk into that restaurant, and get served before me. after working at mcdonalds for 2 months, and now working hospital dietary, it does not take you FOURTY minutes to make ONE burger, and 3 tenders
and a week before that i had gotten chicken tenders, a burger and two cups of ice cream, and in the hot late spring / early summer heat, they gave me the ice creams first, and then i waited 20 minutes for the burger and tenders.
its unfortunately faster to just stop at the caseys for pizza, or go to malden for mcdonalds.
if they get and see these reviews, you NEED more staff to be there on the regular, unless of course your INTENTIONALLY not hiring people, then that's just terrible business practice. your the ONLY, REAL, sit down restaurant in this crap hole town, and it takes you how long to serve food? AND you cant even serve food in the order of which customers arrive? unbelievable, i WONT be coming back...
Read moreActually i drove into the drive-through at 11:08am on a Monday and the sign said closed. The store hours on the window say 11am open every day. So i waited until 12 noon as their first customer, before they opened. I ordered a rootbeer float, large, and she said $4 and some change. This is for a 32 oz. Then i asked to order a cheeseburger with bbq sauce and jalapeños. Thats all. $9.50. I paid and then she had me drive around the building and get in the back of the line to wait for it. 10-15 min later it came out the door to me. I figured some fries were coming with that or maybe the burger was hand made out of premium fresh ground beef. Nope! I got a 1/4 inch cheeseburger that was pre-packaged, and warmed on the grill, with my bbq sauce on the side in a smal bag. Thats it. $14 for a cheeseburger and a 32 oz drink in the middle of the winter. Is this a touristy town or are supplies that scarce and expensive? Last time i will buy food there. I'm not one to go back and yell at a business so i would rather give my review and...
Read moreThe food was great the 1st time there along with service. The 2nd time there, it wasn't bad so to speak, but it was late and cold. I placed a to go order, and I'm almost certain I was forgot about. When I finally got my food, I went straight home (3min away) and the wife and I sat down to eat. Not only was the food cold, but the burgers weren't how I ordered them. I do believe they were going through a shift change so I'm not gonna just throw a bad review out there because as I said earlier, the 1st time was excellent. I'll give it another try next weekend possibly and hope it's like the 1st time all over again. Update: went back and ordered blt and tenderloin Sammiches and they were possibly the best we have ever eaten. The service was fantastic and the place just had that make you happy feeling. I'm glad they came through. Just shows even the best...
