Tony's BBQ — Restaurant in Camuy

My visit to Tony's BBQ was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience. Despite only having one person in line ahead of me, it took an unreasonably long time to be served. The staff seemed to be caught in a chaotic situation, as the kitchen was severely behind on getting the chicken prepared.

The level of disorganization was unlike anything I’ve experienced at other establishments. Even after my order was finally taken and served, paying for the meal turned into another ordeal. The staff appeared to still be sorting out which orders were complete and what sides were needed for each.

While I understand that delays happen, the lack of coordination and efficiency during my visit left a lot to be desired. I hope Tony's BBQ can address these operational issues to provide a smoother experience for their customers...

Would go here weekly if I could. I'm only here in PR for a short time. Food is so good. It's reasonably priced. $48 including taxes and 2 liter drink or something feed 4-6 people. Even when my family and I went here as 4, I eat a lot and there's still some more food left.

I basically ordered the combo #3 that costs $45 and then drink. On #3 combo, they let you pick 4 sides like rice and others. We got two rice sides and that's enough for 4 people. I personally think you should pay for extra side if you are coming here as 5 or 6.

On two remaining side choices, we got beans and fried plantains.

They hand you big whole chicken, like 15?(I did not count) Ribs and small 20? Pork bite sized pieces.

Bonus points if you have kids, they do have special area for kids and they have...

WTH was going on. There were 5 or 6 people in front of me and 4 clerks behind the counter, including the cashier. There were lots of movement behind the counter, yet the line wasn't moving. It took us 30 hungry minutes to get attended even food was already prepared to choose from. I took our order, head for the table, while my friend getting the drinks and pay for the food. Now, another 5 minutes passed and my friend was still there. I got a hand signal to the cashier to be told that the card reader wasn't working. So what's the logic of trying and swiping the credit card for 5 minutes? WTH was going on???????? The line was as usual long for the next 45 minutes here.... While the cashier was waiting.
