Decided to enjoy the weather yesterday and sit outside at The Barnyard Venue. Such a fun spot with plenty of seating, shade and sun. Lots of beers on draft and drink specials. For lunch I got the clam strip roll with onion rings. I’m not a huge eater so the roll was the perfect size for me. The onion rings were so delicious and crispy. I didn’t get a picture of the husband’s burger and fries, but there wasn’t any left at the end. Live music was just about to start as we left. Definitely recommend a visit here.

Really cool vibe and layout. Has a little bit of everything. Well maintained and clean. Food was enjoyable and very good sized portions, they give you so much shrimp! Mixed drinks are enjoyable with alot of different specials to try if you want to mix it up. We loved our food and drinks but could only last through that, it was just way too hot out. Wish they maybe had some ceiling fans to at least circulate the air in the covered areas but I will definitely be back, just when its a little cooler out.

What an amazing little place, locals are lucky to have this place, and any visitors need to stop!! Family friendly, live music at night, and so much to do….. Bocci ball court, paddle ball courts, many corn hole boards, fooseball, basketball game, tv’s, fire pit surrounded by chairs, bar tops, high top tables, etc. And the food….. splendid, whether a burger, a buttered lobster roll, pizza slices on the property(gas station plaza), prime rib specials, etc.

First time visiting here. We were very confused when we walked because there wasn't a sign to indicate if it was seat yourself or have a server seat you. Turns out it's both. There is an area where someone will seat you but the area straight ahead is seat yourself and order at the counter. We decided to order at the counter and seat ourselves.

The atmosphere and vibe on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm was nice. It was relaxing and the weather was great. The spiked root beer drink was very good. I thought this was going to be awesome because we were starving.

Unfortunately it took 45 minutes for our burger and fried chicken sandwich to arrive. My friend and I had already drank both of our drinks while waiting which was unfortunate because had I known it would have taken so long I would have ordered a water as well to drink with my meal. After waiting 45 minutes for my food I'd have expected the sliced of cheese that were ok both of our sandwiches to be nice and melted on top of the chicken and burger. They were not, The only melting was caused by the minimum residual heat given off from the chicken and burger. The food was ok but after such a long wait we weren't blown away and just wanted to get out of there. I would recommend in the future of the food is going to take 45 minutes to be brought out that you alert people so they can make the choice to go somewhere...

I think 3 star is being generous as I like the vibe there. And they make a good drink. Third time here this past Friday night to hear our friend play music and there were eight of us. None of us were impressed with our server we had. Unfortunately maybe she was having a bad day and was taking out on us. Just not understanding what the problem was as we went to the bar area first to get a drink and made our way back to our friends that were seated already by the hostess. Our server seemed to keep asking if we still had a tab at the bar which we did not. Some were ordering just appetizers, others, some meals. I don't think I even saw her smile. She just seemed to be frazzled and even after the food was brought out some of us were still waiting. We did politely ask if it was on its way and she seemed aggravated that she had to answer that yes, the rest of the food would be coming. We all just kept looking at each other in disbelief, like are we doing something wrong? I live 10 minutes away. I will come back but maybe in the meantime the server can have a better attitude. It's a casual outdoor vibe. She just looked and acted like she didn't even want to be...

Drove my car down from Vermont for a Veteran's benefit car show. It was a hot day so I decided to have a cold beer. I bought it from a vendor in a tent (not from the barnyard). The barnyard owner approached me and began barking orders at me that I had to sit inside his venue. So I walked back over to where I purchased my beer (still within the fenced area.) He called the police! The officer approached me at the beer 'tent', and I explained to him what had happened. He seemed as perplexed as I was. Obviously, the barnyard owner has not only never served his country, but he's a real pos trying to force people to buy from him rather than support the function taking place. I encourage all fellow veterans to not visit his establishment. Btw, I never breached the perimeter that was posted 'no alcohol beyond...
