Brewster's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Cannon Falls

me and my family ate here fri night.. I know it was very hot outside but it was very very hot inside.. we had to take our food togo.. this was our first time eating there.. my husband ordered the all you can eat fish and right away he new it was frozen not fresh fish.. there food was good but you cant mess up on frying stuff. the service was good.. this place must not have air conditioning because we had to leave it was so hot.. my husband was over heated.. after we got our food we ate a little and decided it was so hot we had to go. the servers were sweating so bad and kinda gross when bringing out food with someone sweating all over..

Located in a historic building in Downtown Cannon Falls, Brewsters bar was a comfortable, small town, great restaurant and Bar. Pull tabs, inexpensive beer served in ice cold glass pint glasses, great burgers. What more could you ask for at lunch! TVs with football on, country music playing throughout the bar. Serving staff was attentive, but very busy. It was crowded. I was most impressed with my double cowboy burger. Perfectly prepared, with crispy bacon and barbecue sauce! It was really good. Waited over a half hour for our food which was the special for the night: a taco salad and 2 hard shell beef tacos. Our waitress was not to be seen for at least 25 minutes. Then she finally brings our food and the meat is cold as well as the taco shells. This was at 7:30 on a Thursday night. Only one other table was waiting for food. I don't know if the kitchen was that busy or our waitress was gone and our food sat for 15-20 min. I certainly wasn't going to wait another half hour for them to remake our meal.
