Overpriced, for a small soggy pie with a cardboard-like crust. Other reviews talking about 100% mozzarella must have been dining elsewhere. (aside from the cheese bread, which earned it a solitary star) On top of the slow & rude cooks, the cashier gave me 7 $1 bills instead of the $9 and change I was due. As I was already late and there were other customers behind me as irritated as I was, I simply resolved to never dine @ Dudley's again. Jokes on her in the end, as I always tip at least $5 ... :-/
Edit/Addeneum: Would've been about a month back during early evening hours on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Was in the Cannon Falls area for the weekend and might not be sure exactly which day I stopped in, but distinctly recall the bad taste left in my mouth from my interaction.
On the plus side, cheese bread was good and the fact that you are concerned enough about your customers experience to follow up on my belated review tells me that there is at least one concerned/capable person at the helm there, which wasn't exactly evident on my visit.
I threw an extra star on for that, and will actually consider giving you guys another shot next time I'm in town, which I definitely wouldn't have before your response.
Wasn't trying to slam your shop in any way, just wanted to share my experience in the hopes that others would not have...
Read moreThis was the first time we ate here. It was a Friday late afternoon. Since we are both allergic to wheat, we ordered one of their gluten free pizzas with Canadian Bacon and pineapple on top. Since I am from Chicago, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. I asked the worker not set the pizza on the same surface as the regular pizza because of cross contamination, and he was very nice about it. Then, as soon as I said we were dining in, I noticed he cleaned up the table that had another customer's used plates, etc.. I appreciated that so we wouldn't have to look at it while waiting for our pizza. The pizza had a tasty sauce that was not too salty or sweet, lots of good quality cheese, and a good amount of Canadian bacon. The GF crust was too thin, of course, but that's common at many pizza places. Overall, we enjoyed the pizza. My daughter has had their regular pizza with sausage on top, but thought the sausage chunks were way too big...
Read moreThis was the first place we've eaten at in Cannon Falls. Cute little place and decor is wrestling stuff on the walls as someone else mentioned. The decor did not bother us in any way. The service was prompt with friendly staff more than willing to show us the menu and answer any questions we may have. Food arrived at a reasonable amount of wait time with everything hot and fresh. We got a large meatball sub, raspberry shake and large pizza that was their daily special. Shake was really good and refreshing. The XL size completely filled up two standard drink plastic cups which was plenty for 2-3 people to split. The meatball sub was really good with fresh roll that wasn't crunchy (many places over-toast their rolls). The pizza was really good with fresh ingredients - thin crust (not our fav) but not too crispy. We'll come back again if...
