My Husband and I stopped in for lunch on Thursday around 3:30. There were only a few cars in the parking lot at that time. To our surprise it was Happy Hour at Honey Creek Inn. It runs every Monday through Friday from 3-5 pm. Their Happy Hour Food Menu is out of this world. Everything from appetizers to burgers, chicken tenders, soup & salads. The menu is huge. We were so hungry we could have eaten everything. We decided on a house salad for each of us and two Cokes, we shared a basket of fried mushrooms, 6 wing dings, clams, a smelt basket with fries & coleslaw. It also came with all the sauces for dipping. Our total bill was $18. which included tax. The salad was so fresh like it just came from the garden, everything else was hot and so good. We even took home a few leftovers. Our server was excellent. We told her this is our new Happy Place. We left at 4:45 and the place was filling up quickly. We will be back. Thank You Honey Creek for a delightful yummy lunch. I wish I took a picture because we couldn't believe all the food on our table. Give this place a try you won't be...

This place has changed in the worst way. The menu stayed the same forever (in a good way) with classic bar food selections at reasonable prices. It was a really fun historic old feeling bar with tons of character. I'm not sure what happened, but over the course of the last couple of years, they've seemingly attempted to go more upscale - slashing tons of their delicious bar food options and replacing it with rich & heavy 'upscale' options that are done somewhat half-heartedly. Honestly really bummed that they've shifted gears because I feel like all the old Irish bar character was swiped away in an attempt to get fancy. And now it's neither here nor there - they've got the atmosphere and casual low-grade service of an old bar, but now with mostly expensive upscale food that isn't very good. Granted they have retained a couple bar food fried options, but they're $15-20 for a fish/chicken basket. Anyways, others might not agree, but this is my perspective as a neighbor who used to come here weekly and now will...

We have been longtime customers at this restaurant and have always really enjoyed it in the past however our most recent visit was a little bit disappointing. The things that we've always loved about Honey Creek the most were simply missing this time. For example we noticed that many of the old staff members were now suddenly gone. Our waitress was fine but it wasn't the same as the previous waitresses that we got to know over the years. The menu has changed. Many of the favorite things that we used to look forward to ordering we're now gone. No more London Broil or Pork Shank. The quality vegetables were replaced by cream of corn that seemed to come from a can.The quality of the food we ordered was okay, but nothing like what we used to have at Honey Creek. In all likelihood we will return again in the future. But we will return hoping to find something from the past and less from what this...

Drove about 40 minutes here for the Rubin that everyone seems to rave about. Sandwich was kind of a letdown, hardly toasted, barely any cheese & very little dressing. I did like the shredded corned beef, however the sandwich is mediocre at best. My wife got the loaded fries, which looked amazing on google, but again were a total letdown, bland & missing about 1/2 the ingredients compared to the photo on google, cheese was on the bottom & tasted like it came out of a can. Cozy atmosphere & friendly staff give the place a little credit, they seem to have a long history & loyal following which I can appreciate. If I lived closer I'd probably give it another shot, but defiantly not worth the drive for just the food.

Terrific casual dinner and drinks spot at Honey Creek Inn. Enjoyed the Walleye Dinner with grilled brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes along with the Cannonsburg Burger. Did I mention it's a ⅓lb of freshly ground round from the grist mill across the street. Service was too notch, and the bar had a decent selection of scotch and bourbon. Went with the Red Breast 12 year Irish Whisky neat and wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend a visit if your in the Cannonsburg area, followed by a visit to the bottle shop next door and a scenic drive home down Honey Creek Rd back to the GR metro area.

Very cozy, always busy, always loud but always excellent food and service and even with large groups we never seem to wait long for tables. Absolutely recommend. Rueben and Keilbasa are delicious! Wheelchair accessible ramp is in the back and both times I have been here there has always been a car parked in front partially blocking access. I also don't know when its crowded and waitors squeeze around tables if they are a wheelchair friendly establishment, especially if you have a larger or motorized wheelchair, I don't know how you woukd get around the dining room/bar to a table.
