China King — Restaurant in Canton

Hit it miss. More miss than hit. We are not local, just drive by, 3 of 4 times in the past couple of months the place was closed, NOT according to working hours. As for food, there are 2 of us dining and we order different plates, so only once both of us were satisfied. Usually either one goes away upset with food left or thrown away or the other. Previous time my buddy ordered some plate with breaded meat. To find meat inside breading do not forget to bring magnifying glass, in other words, there was almost no meat there, Today I got the worst order ever. Everything was swimming in oil, not sause, taste was disgusting, made me gagging. Complete...

I eat here at every chance i get. I live about an hour away but no other chinese place around can compete with this very small location. They have the best general tso's chicken you will ever have and it's even better when you dine in because its got a nice crunch. Anytime i get chinese food i compare it to this location and get sad because nowhere is even close. If you happen to pass through canton make sure to stop by and order the S6 as it is the best thing on the menu even if you don't like general tso's chicken typically... this is the kind of food that turns vegans...

My husband and I were on our way home and found China King on Google. The reviews were right on. The food is outstanding, at a reasonable price. I had the lunch combo moo goo gai pan with pork fried rice and egg roll, and my husband had the general tso's chicken with pork fried rice and egg roll. Everything came out hot and freshly made.
