Saints Avenue Cafe — Restaurant in Canton

On the 11th of December 2023 at 6pm I went in to have a bite to eat. The older lady that was there at the cash register seemed to be pleasant enough, she let me choose my table. After eating...the food wasn't great. I attempted to pay using a debit card. The machine was being glitchy and would not accept the card, so the lady said she would enter it manually. After 2 failed attempts she tried a 3rd time during this attempt she read my card number aloud with enough volume that others in the restaurant could hear her. Half way through her doing this I stopped her politely and asked her to not read it aloud. She responded in a foul tone saying "it will be alright". Then continued even louder reading the rest of the numbers including the expiration date and 3 digits on the back. I was flabbergasted and just signed the receipt and walked out. Directly after this I logged in to my bank and turned off my card making sure that the money for the meal had cleared. I have to make a special trip to the bank and get a new card this week...I'm 250 miles from home. I attempted to contact a manager the next day and they would not answer the phone. So I decided to write this. I will never be back to any of the locations and I will tell everyone I know about...

I brought my family of 7 here thinking it was gonna be better then the one in Hannibal. We told the server it was our first time here so she just sits us down doesn't tell us price or anything. There was literally 2 different types of meat and the rest was veggies. We didn't get told they had another menu until my kids already got their food. And also didn't get told their was a percentage taking for using our card to pay. Definitely the worst service I have had when I said we have never been here. We will not be going back there again and will stick...

We got here and empty did a couple things 28 minutes later and left the apple dessert finally came out and it was ice cold he said they heat it up and that's the way they do it by the lights so apparently you have to wait a couple hours the dinner rolls the desert with hockey pucks most of it was cold I asked for some sauces and he would never bring them the butter was froze the potatoes were stiff as a rock the gravy was like jelly we will never come back...
