My wife and I decided to grab this to go on a Friday night as it was on our way to a hotel and we wanted something to eat when we arrived. We wanted to try a new place (and not a typical chain restaurant) and I ended up with this based on the reviews, and because it was directly on the way to the hotel. I tried to time it by ordering it online beforehand so it would be ready by the time I got there, but I ended up getting there before the pizza started getting made. Not a big deal - I just waited it out. The two people inside (I'm guessing one was the owner) were nice and he said they would begin working on it immediately so I just waited in the car outside, and eventually moved inside to wait the last few mins.
So we took it to the hotel which was maybe another 5-10 mins up the highway. The pizza was still warm/hot and there was nothing visibly wrong with our orders (2 medium pizzas), but we were both rather disappointed in the taste. The pizzas were very bland in flavor, and for the prices of these pizzas (they aren't cheap!) I was expecting way better, and this is the sole reason of why I decided to leave this review. If we had paid half of what we did for this meal, I probably wouldn't have bothered leaving this here, but we could have spent less at a chain restaurant and had...
Read moreOur first Doordash order here after hearing for a long time how great it is. Reality did not meet expectations. Sauce was a bit salty. For us, that's saying a lot. Also, crust was overdone and chewy. The good note was the Greek salad. After his reply below, I have the desire to respond. Not everyone is able to go out. My spouse has numerous health conditions that make those activities difficult at best. We ordered our go to pizza. We know the taste of olives. The amount of olives wasn't a fraction of what is required to make it salty. It was the sauce. Perhaps you should quit smoking so you can taste. Doordash has tracking. I followed the dasher all the way from you to me. The condescending attitude was not appropriate nor appreciated. Changing rating from 3 to 1 star. If you want to make it right, stop the excuses. Honestly, Johnny's is...
Read moreI ordered a ham and cheese calzone a small pizza and an order of bread sticks. Sticks and pizza weren’t bad but the calzone was burnt on top and had about 5 tiny pieces of ham in the whole calzone. My family and I eat pizza at least once-twice a week all over canton and this was by far the worst. I would say it is easily comparable to dominoes or Pizza Hut. Overall not horrible but not great either. 4.2 out of 10
Response to owner: we didn’t come into your shit shack of a restaurant. We ordered delivery, so we didn’t see your ridiculous excuse for burning pizzas. “Home of the well-done pizza”. What in the world kind of stupid excuse is that? Let’s be honest. Your pizza and calzone was so bad we wouldn’t eat it for leftovers the next day. Your hype of being decent pizza is gone and you will eventually be like the rest and “out...
