The Corner Grill — Restaurant in Canyon

Canyon locals and live close by this new establishment. We were excited! We realize that its newly open and needs time to work out the kinks. So, first time review, we went through drive through. Very limited menu compared to the signage on the building and social media ads. We struggle a-lot to see the digit menu board due to blinding sunlight. When we asked the staff member when the full menu was available for drive through, she said it launched last week and didn't know why its not on the menu board. We tried to look at the website but it was not working.

When we were able to see the first thing we noticed was the price of the food and it was burgers and chicken strips. Ok, not fast food but more than expected. We decided to still give it a try, we don't mind paying for good service and quality food. The young that took our order was nice and polite. We quickly learned it much like several fast food restaurants with higher prices. We didnt get what we ordered, some of it was cold and the chicken strips were “ok”. We would loves-loved to try thier sauce with our meal and order 2 but didnt get that either.

We want it to work and stay, thus we will give it sometime and try again. I hope this helps and its just...

I’ve been there twice. Burgers 1st visit were dry and overcooked. Ok but not what my family likes. They had just opened so we decided to give them another chance.

Today I got chicken fried chicken. Chicken was tender but there was no real flavor in the coating. Gravy…. Bland. No seasonings at all. Mashed potatoes… blah. Tasted like mashed potatoes made with water, not the buttery creamy flavor most people expect from good mashed potatoes. French fries were soggy but I put them in the oven and it helped crisp them up a little. Broccoli had a weird flavor I didn’t really like. Others might, though.

It was, in my opinion, just a very middle-of-the-road meal. Not horrible but not good, either. It did not make me want to go back. There other restaurants in the area that I think are much better.

I will likely give them one more chance but I won’t get CFC again. Maybe my taste buds are defective because this place has so many...

If I’ve ever had a worse restaurant experience I can’t imagine it. We just finished dinner here, it’s right around the corner for us, so very convenient, but we left severely disappointed and won’t be back. It was a bit busy so we expected some wait. A complete lack of anything resembling effort ensued. We had to ask someone (not our waiter) to take our drink order, we had to ask someone (not our waiter) to take our food order, we had to go to the kitchen to get drink refills, we had to ask someone (not our waiter) for our ticket. Our waiter delivered the drinks and delivered the food but other than that nothing, spent all of his time standing, doing nothing, waiting for food to come out of the kitchen. All of our food was hard, dry, and burnt yet somehow cold. Except the Caesar salad, it looked fairly decent. Just flat out terrible and I hate that, given the convenience we could have spent time...
