10 Twenty Five Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I order on line at the website.
Note: You must pay with a credit card & cannot get the daily special to go.
You cannot order and pay with cash when you pick up your order.
Using the website was very easy. You can choose days in advance and the time to pick up your order. For a limited time there is a $2 discount.
The order was made according to my time request and was hot.
My food ....Chicken avocado melt $ 10 or so & grouper tacos,3 blacken extra spicy $15 bucks
Along with very good french fries :-)
The chicken melt had no distinct flavor but of just the taste of the avocado and a hint of the ranch dressing. Over all bland. I guess the way floridians like their food.
My tacos.... I asked for blacken PLUS EXTRA SPICY....Well I got 3 tacos....It was not very blacken. ...The extra hot peppers or SPICINESS was no where to be found.
The fries were good.
Though a $2 discount which covers the taxes... The prices are in line for the tourist in the area...
No special consideration for US local folks.

10 Twenty Five, Santa Barbara Blvd. Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
Well this is a first for me. I wanted to try the brunch here. The prices seemed reasonable. The items seemed very good.
The coffee was excellent and so was my server. Coffee was served in a big cup. Yeah!
But I was served with a BIG Can of Sour Grapes.
It appeared they do not like my past reviews. So instead of giving me a nice warm welcome.
They gave me a COLD hearten boot out the door.
Which is unfortunate but their right.
I will give 4 stars for the coffee. I did like it.
Ad of Father's day buffet...15-20 items. 20 bucks....only 5 items.. Make your own taco...dry pork...terrible jambalaya...... broccoli something....1\2 ear corn on comb.....rip off for $20...+ 3 bucks not so sweet...
Read moreThis is a must try on the Cape! The menu is interesting. The food is excellent. They have a bit of a unique setup with the main restaurant on one side of a central wall and cocktail lounge on the other side. They have very different atmospheres but both are cool depending on what you are looking for. Note: they have separate outside entrances but you can move between the two without going outside. Also the full menu is available on both sides. If you read my reviews you know I care about the details that makes a place good or meh. In This is what makes 10 Twenty Five above average 1) the food: interesting takes on standard that make this place stand out. The quality is high and consistent. Including taco Tuesday where they present a special taco of the week along with the normal “gringo” tacos. They also offer a soup of the day. Unlike most restaurants it’s actually a home made soup that reflects the unique imagination that is seen in the rest of the menu. The same can be said about the Saturday-Sunday brunch offerings. 2) Drinks: Smart cocktails and an excellent tap beer selections have something for everyone. 3) Staff: Almost all are over the top friendly and they work on a team system so there’s no one person you are dependent on to serve you. They all work together at the bar and tables to make sure you have what you want when you want it, including the check. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bunch of great pics of the food to post but many others have done that before me. Enjoy this cool spot.
Update: 9/17/24: See the new menu in my pics. The “egg roll in a bowl” is our new...
Read moreThe food here is always delicious and slightly different from the norm. Today, I had "The Big Easy," a subtle take on a traditional shrimp po'boy. The differences are important. The shrimp (big, tender, and juicy) are blackened (not fried) with a nice kick; the tomatoes are fried (definitely unusual!) with a Buttermilk batter; and there are small slices of what the menu calls "artisan Romaine," as well as a slightly-spicy aoili. This is all served on a hot dog roll (!), which the menu calls a "New England Style Brioche Bun," buttered and slightly toasted. (A similar bun would be found under a traditional New England lobster roll.) Nice ensemble!
(My first bite was unusually spicy...maybe too spicy...but the taste evened out after that. Perhaps there was a "chunkule" of spices that had gathered on the first shrimp.)
I had mine with a side of Cole slaw, which was traditional white cabbage, mayo, probably a little vinegar and/or lemon juice and carrot shavings. I thought it was a little too sugary-sweet for my taste, but many may like it that way.
And, as always, the whole was accompanied by nice, friendly, attentive staff, and a talkative clientele at the bar.
[As a side note, this Cape Coral location does not serve hard liquor...just an extensive beer collection as well as a select wine list. (The downtown Fort Myers location has liquor along with the same food menu.) I did hear some talk that the venue is about to expand, and that the expansion will include...
