McDonald's — Restaurant in Carbondale

Came through the drive thru and everything we ordered was on the screen. When we reached the second window there were 2 things missing from the receipt. We asked if we could get the 2 burgers and pay for them there. The manager then was very rude about telling us we had to come through the drive thru again or come inside to reorder them because they were really busy. She was very rude. Then she kept our receipt. I went in to get it and the store number and she pulled it our of the trash to give it to me. I didn't get her name but she had brunette hair. I spoke with a very nice young man outside about the situation and he said that absolutely shouldn't have happened. She should have given us our burgers at the second window. He also told us there was another manager on duty and he would let her know what happened. After we left we realized they charged us for an extra fry that we didn't even get. I will not be going back...

Holy smokes! Things are going downhill further at this location. Now there are a number of new faces working here. And evidently the level of comprehension of orders and checking orders is really suffering. For example, last week I asked for a small sack at the pick up window. Instead, I was handed 4 plus packets of salt. This week I requested a half sweet/half unsweet tea. I was given a fully sweetened tea. And I'm betting today another customer was really annoyed. Because I ordered two sausage biscuits but, was given a sausage muffin and sausage muffin with egg. Not horrible for me on this last order. Yet, more costly for the restaurant. And, likely, an irritated customer who didn't receive it. Also, it appears that there is a sore lack of understanding what "extra ice" means. If the operations here continue like this, it'll have to be overhauled...

Be sure to order fresh fries because 9/10 times, they won’t be. It can be busy - you’re not getting fresh fries. It can be slow - you’re not getting fresh fries or anything remotely close.

Tonight was a slow night - they made me wait (which I honestly don’t mind doing) - and then handed me a bag with cold fries and the rest of my food, which is also getting cold because I have to go inside and ask for fresh fries.

If you go inside and say “hey, I just gave you money and you gave me cold fries, can I have fresh ones?” Guess what bucko, you still will not get fresh fries.

Some of the staff are nice but I’m never going back to this location again and I would avoid it if I were you. I’ve been burned way too many times and I know I’m not...
