We go to El Paso literally every weekend because its right down the road from us and our "treat" to catch up. So yes, go try it out. I feel the need to leave this review because I was very shocked to how the manager left our situation on October 15th later in the day. My husband ordered a dish that costs 18.99 I forget the name of it, but he's had it before at this location and it was wonderful.. This time, It had tasted like chemicals. He had a few small soft tacos out of his dish and couldn't touch it anymore because the taste was making him sick. Considering this man can eat about 7 soft tacos something was definitely wrong lol. He doesn't like making complaints even if it is terrible so I had mentioned it to the waitress.... not asking for a replacement or anything to simply let her know for anyone else who may order it.
I took my son to the restroom and the manager spoke to my husband. Telling him that its odd because all the food is made fresh and all the restaurants cook their food differently. We go to the same one every time. The manager blew him off like it was nothing and then went to go " check with the waitress to see if she was getting our to- go boxes" as she was literally walking up with them. Didn't apologize, didn't offer anything ( which we weren't looking for) didn't own up to anything and blew him off like nothing.
My husband was so disappointed after we left and ended up eating the rest of my food when we got home.
Note to the manager, That's SAD. To dismiss someone who didn't even want to go to you in the first place, but felt the need to let you know the food taste like burnt plastic and propane for future guests. We will definitely be spending our...
Read moreThis was our second time visiting. The first was about a week after they opened and it left a lot to be desired. The first time they were out of the premium alcohol for the drinks but still charging the same price. Once seated, it took about 5 minutes to get chips (bean dip not complimentary ) then after 10 minutes had to ask who was our server. We chalked it up to just opening & trying to work out bugs.
This time, on a very slow Sunday we walked up to the hostess (Hispanic young lady with braces) who didn’t greet nor smile & I asked if all locations were the same to which she paused & said yes. We asked for the patio & was seated immediately, however, we were not served immediately despite the manager(Hispanic male) bringing someone else chips next to us & multiple workers walking past our table. An interracial family SEATED AFTER US were greeted by the server & given chips immediately. Ours came shortly thereafter from the chip person I guess because after 5 minutes of sitting there we never had a server come to our table. There were only about 5 tables filled & we were the only black ppl on the patio so you know where I’m going with this. We never felt welcomed from the time we entered to the time we sat. So we left and went to our usual Pinhook location where of course the service was spectacular. Kaitlyn, our server, did not disappoint. Carencro, you have to do...
Read moreCheese dip comes out with a skin on the top cause I'm sure it sat for a while before coming to the table. Ordered a top shelf margartia on the rocks, they cannot make drinks at this place! In the past I got a Paloma which had no trace of grapefruit, which is mostly what the drink consists of. And as well, the margarita was very orange tasting, I could not detect any lime whatsoever. Chimichanga had absolutley no crunch to it, it was like rubber. And they charged me $5 for a very, very small dish of quacamole, which was supposed to come on the plate as the waitress stated. On others plates you could tell the beans, etc had been on the plate for a while they were dry on top and looked very unappetizing. I was attending a birthday party and had no choice except to eat at this place. Otherwise my husband and I avoid it like the plaugue. Always a disappointment!! WOW! Nice comment by managment. Yeah, I am "upset" that I paid $72 for 1 COLD queso for the table and 2 CRAPPY drinks, an a la cart chimichanga with a $5 TINY bowl of guacamole. The waitress was nice, but I am stating the facts of my visit which were subpar at best! Your drinks and queso are the worst in town and...
