Laporte Inn — Restaurant in Carlisle Township

I have been ordering food from this place for almost 15 years. They have some good food. I love the lady (Rose) in charge of the kitchen. She knows full well who I am. Unfortunately, the majority of the people working behind the bar are unpleasant at best. I've learned that they are this way to almost everyone. I don't know their names, but two are females, and one is a male. One of the females is the manager, the other is a full figured woman with long dark hair. The guy is skinny and wears glasses.

Until major staff changes are made, I will not be patronising this place, and I will be making sure others are aware of the issues. Also, the floors are trashed, the place needs to be cleaned properly, and the men's room looks as if it gets a minor...

The bar is nice, fun, and love the Saturday DJ with karaoke. The bartenders though are HORRIBLE. Our group has been 3-4 times in the last 6 months on a Saturday and the ladies behind the bar are just so incredibly rude and miserable. They are always angry, give dirty looks, they don’t speak when you say thank you or anything. Like their job is based off tips you would think they would want to have even a little customer service. Our friends don’t want to go back because the bar tenders ruin the entire experience. The owners would see a lot more business if they had better and friendlier service....

The food was fantastic and so was the service. The bar itself was very spacious with plenty of room for our group to gather and unwind. The bartender was fun and talkative without being over bearing. The fresh cut fries were crispy in the office and soft in the inside without the sogginess most places serve. The mushrooms were perfect and the wings were delicious and perfectly well done at our request. This is a preferred 19th home for me after a round of golf in the area. Haven't had a...
