The Purple Pig Cafe — Restaurant in Carlisle

My wife and I love trying new and different cafes in the area and I couldn’t wait to try the Purple Pig so today I decided to stop in after finding out they finally opened to give it a try. Walking in I noticed how nice and clean the atmosphere was with very interesting decor then the girl at the register with a great welcoming smile asked me for my order. Being that I can’t have caffeine I asked for a decaffeinated latte just to find out they didn’t serve decaf coffee but the nice girl did say they will eventually accommodate this in the future. So i was very disappointed after driving from Germantown to try this new cafe out but i still have this review 5 because of the nice atmosphere and wonderful hospitality hopefully returning one day to give it a try after they start serving decaf. (Wanted to write this review to hopefully save someone else who is restricted of having caffeine the time...

We just hosted our book club event at The Purple Pig Café, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The owner was incredibly kind and generous, making our entire gathering feel so welcome and exciting.

From the lively yet chill atmosphere with plenty of room to mingle, to the phenomenal drinks and the amazing menu, everything was spot on. And since it’s spooky season, they even had a bunch of exotic coffee options to choose from, which our members loved. Everyone left super satisfied and we’re all looking forward to coming back again....

Between us, we got bagel and biscuit sandwiches, a hot chai latte, and an iced caramel latte. The biscuit was light and fluffy, the bagel was great, the chai was creamy and delicious and the iced latte was perfect and came in a bucket.

The seating area was spaced out and not crowded. Everything was very clean. The noise level was louder than I'd have liked, but not obnoxiously so. Honestly, no complaints.

Definitely will stop in...
