Lemon's Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Carmel

While having a break between watching basketball games nearby, my husband and I decided to stop here (specifically Lemon's) for a quick snack. We entered through Lemon's Bakery Cafe. When we first walked in there was no one in the cafe, but we did spot a woman restocking a shelf nearby. We waited for a few minutes until eventually a manager spotted us and instructed her to go help. She was apologetic and a bit flustered, as she promised us she didn't see we were standing there. She admitted it was her second day on the job and she was still figuring things out as she took our latte and donut order. In the end, both the cake donut and latte were decent but nothing special. If I'm in the area, I would stop in again for a quick coffee or treat, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone. The space is cute though and could be good...
