Georgia's Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Carnegie

This is an older building, but it doesn't stop these wonderful cooks (2 of em in the kitchen at 12:06 on a Friday) from cooking possibly the BEST food around! I brought my coworker here for lunch and he got the chicken fried steak. They brought it out and you couldn't see the plate, the steak was so big! I got the Friday special - Hamburger steak and mashed potatoes with green beans. The patty wasn't flat, it was almost round and FAT and delicious. I had a crispy taco for an appetizer haha. It was jam packed with fresh taco meat, lettuce, tomato with salsa. The next time I eat here, I'm getting six of those suckers. My coworker is eating cobbler at this point, and he hasn't spoken a word yet, I think he likes his cherry cobbler a la mode. Will...

It's a great place to eat. Good food, great people. We were a bit skeptical because when we arrived, we were the only customers, but our skepticism was unfounded. The server was super friendly. When we finished lunch, the joint was hopping, and the parking lot was nearly full. They serve a proper paddy melt on rye...Yum! The wife had a really juicy cheeseburger. I would be remiss if I failed to mention that the beef was not from a frozen paddy. If we find ourselves in Carnegie, OK, again, and are hungry, this will be our first choice. Oh...we were given two outstanding complimentary servings of pineapple upside-down cake. How they knew that was my favorite cake, I'll never know.

I was overcharged for my meal two times in a month for my meal. A cheeseburger, fries, a salad bar, a drink, plus a Saturday night steak special with trip to the salad bar, a drink does not cost $45.00 + $3 tip. I did the math and the meal should have been $35 + $3 tip. I was overcharged by exactly $10. When I ask for a receipt I always receive an UNITEMIZED receipt when paying with a debit card. This is my second occurrence. I trust your waitress is is honest, but a second time occurrence...
