Açaí Express Villa Fontana — Restaurant in Carolina

Açai Express was definitely my go to healthy spot to go after each workout and gotta love the fact that it's a food truck but they have a drive thru area which is very rare and cool at the same time!

The best place to get açaí bowls. Aside from the bowls they also sell Pitaya Bowls, Natural Juices, Smoothies, Lemonades, Pikolé (aka Paletas or Ice Cream Pops), Artisan Toast, Coconut Bowl & Milkshakes! The ingredients are fresh and there's a lot of variety when it comes to toppings. The size of each bowl are very decent and very filling sizes.

Creating your own bowl here and watch it be built is a work of art. They have a tiny area to sit so l recommend drive thru and take it with you! Plus mosquitos in Puerto Rico are something else!

I went to PR for a Vacation and met some old friends from high school . Haven’t been in PR for about 4-5 years. They recommended me to tried this place out, it was delicious. Portions are just great for the price. I tried the Valentine Bowl and it was just to die for on how good it was. Had to go 2 more times to this place before leaving back home to Connecticut. They usually take a long time make sure to come when it’s empty or call and order early...
