Pizza Mar — Restaurant in Carolina

Me and my girlfriend were visiting Puerto Rico for the first time coming from Chicago and we were so excited to try this pizza place because it had good reviews on google. As soon as we came, nobody acknowledged us that some lady that walked in with us went and got an employee to take care of us. We then got seated and nobody brought us a menu. Waited a long time and still nobody took care of us. They finally brought our menu after waiting a while and we placed the order right away since we looked at their menu online with our phones. The food came and not once did they come up to us to ask if the food was okay or if we needed anything. I wanted a refill for my drink and nobody ever came. We finally got our check, paid and left. Even though it was terrible service, we still left a tip. One of the worst experiences by far at a restaurant in Puerto Rico....

It’s PR. Everything is slow. If you’re going to order anywhere, it’s going to be slow. Everyone is laid back. Not in a rush. Pizza mar was good. Not fantastic. Two out of the three pizzas were cooked good. The third was doughy. Supreme pizza had crispy crust and flavorful toppings. The sausage was just what you’d expect. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious as well in exception the doughy crust. *The service…the gentleman serving our table was in no rush. And did not respond to the phrase “thank you”. Did not seem to be happy to be there. The orders took about 30 minutes to come out of not a little longer from when we got there. Ultimately. Food was mostly good. Service was not good. Atmosphere was nice. Nice place inside and music. Value was good...

Tonight, May 20 about ten minutes till 9pm I walked in and all the chairs where up, their were a couple of customers eating. I asked if I can have a pizza and I was told is closed. I told them the website said it closes at 10pm, the answer was "is to slow, we are closed". So I asked again. I let them know the website says it closes at 10pm. I decided to come back after going to the store next door and asked what time they closed and she said 9pm . I asked how could that be when I was taking to her about 9pm. We agreed they closed at 845pm but I believed they closed earlier. Customers should beware of making plans to come here. Employes close when ever they feel like. Do not follow...
