I feel a little odd about this one. Taco Maker is a strange phenomenon amongst fast foods. It feels like their always under staffed (I've seen an older gentleman working there outside of uniform whom I can only assume is the owner) but are always pulling 120% to get the food out.
Staff are friendly if you are, if not it's "Here's your food and go" but that's fine because their food is always good. I'm surprised how little they screw up looking at how fragile certain ingredients are. I've yet to see a platter salad looking old and withered, and I've seen that happen even in proper restaurants.
The reason it's odd is because it's technically a chain, it just doesn't feel like one. Taco Bell, BK, Church's even look like manufacturing machines spitting out food.
