Prairie Inn — Restaurant in Carrington

Have not been here for probably six(6) years. Had stopped several times but was closed because of the Wuhan scam-demic. However, did stop for coffee and pie this afternoon and was very impressed! They had "real rhubarb pie with homemade crust" and it was absolutely the best rhubarb pie I've had in far too many years! REAL Rhubarb pie - NOT Strawberry Rhubarb. Also thought the coffee was pretty good as well! Just right!

The service was excellent! The waitress was very pleasant and helpful as well. Told the waitress how pleased we were and will be back. We've already decided that we are going to leave for Jamestown early next week and plan to stop at Prairie Inn Restaurant next week for the noon meal. While there, we took a brief look at their menu. They have a very good selection on their menu and the price's are very reasonable in my humble opinion.

One more thing I must mention that impresses me with any business is how clean the facilities are, including the restrooms. This place was clean and would recommend that anyone going to or passing thru Carrington, ND, if they need a place to dine or need a coffee...

Seat yourself restaurant. Really pleasant waitress brought water (nice), and asked if we wanted coffee (of course we did!) she brought a big carafe of coffee, but only filled the cups a little more than half full saying people tell her it gets cold if she fills it all the way… I said “that’s fine as long as you come back soon” and she says “oh, I’m leaving the carafe here!” Bonus points for that and the coffee was excellent! Ordered our usual two eggs, hash browns, bacon and english muffins (first time we heard “your choice of whole wheat or white” for english muffins). Wife went with the whole wheat this time. I went with white. Food came out quickly and Tabasco soon to follow… Overall, eggs cooked perfectly. Not many hash browns, but they were crispy. Bacon was ok on thickness, but somewhat underdone on the ends. My English muffin was light and crispy, but my wife only ate one as the whole wheat muffin was dense and soggy. We’d eat here again if we can make it during the week—sorry (and confused) to hear they’re closed on weekends, which is when we usually come to...

Found out you can have breakfast anytime here at the Prairie Inn. I liked that a lot!!

I had the pleasure of being in one of 𝗗𝗲𝗯'𝘀 sections. She was 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, and 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝. I appreciate the Prairie Inn being open when my associate and I needed a spot to sit and talk.

My 3-Meat Omlette was 𝔻𝔼𝔼𝔼𝔼-𝕃𝕀𝕊ℍ𝕌𝕊!!!! 🆃🅷🅰🅽🅺🆂 🅲🅷🅴🅵!! 😂 When I asked for my preferred condiment, she expeditiously returned, so I could enjoy my meal. 𝐃𝐞𝐛 was so fast, you can compare her to Sonic or Speedy Gonzalez. 💨 💨 💨 💨 #Zoom
