Ponce's Place — Restaurant in Carroll Township

We enjoyed our dinner at Ponce's Place tonight! We sat at the bar and Patty took such great care of us! She was so friendly, and accommodating, and made us feel like we had been going there for years. The food was delicious!!! We also enjoyed the cocktails and conversation! The menu has many options, it is affordable, the portion sizes are plentiful and everything we ordered was made in perfect time! Our group had orders of Fried Zucchini and Meatballs, both with an excellent marinara sauce. The Bacon Cheeseburgers and the Chef salad were great too. The desserts, Oreo cream pie and Cheese Cake (with caramel and chocolate drizzle), were so yummy!!! It is a casual, comfortable place and the other patrons were friendly to us as well. They have daily specials, take out orders, and do event catering! We look forward to visiting again! ...

From the road it looks like a house with white siding. When you enter the dining room, which is off to the side as the bar entrance is in front, it looks very unassuming. In fact, we almost left. Man, are we good we didn't. The owner waited on us and we discovered it's a family owned and operated restaurant. The 80 year old still hand rolls meatballs. You would never think that this place makes their own salad dressings. They are DELICIOUS! Take the owner's advice and try the blue cheese Italian. OMG was it good. Pretty awesome. We were new to the area. Patty was so sweet and full of charm! She helped us decide what to order, gave great directions and was great to talk to. Service was the best I've had in a long time at a nice little local place! They ordered burgers and I had the chicken salad supreme and it was delicious! Best part was they had summer shandy on tap! Will definitely return here for more food...
