After an all day motorcycle ride, enjoying some sights throughout southern park of PA and northern MD. We made our last pit stop of the day at Eagle and the Owl Pub inside of the Liberty Mountain Resort. It is my understanding that this part of the resort was just recently constructed (within the last yr or 2). The inside of the resort looked beautiful. The Pub was very VERY nice. The tables were all spaced apart perfectly so other patrons convos didnt interrupt yours. There were 4 of us. We each got different entrees all of which were AMAZING. Foods I'd recommend trying would be the crab cake sandwich. It was jammed packed w/ crab meat with very little to no filler which you rarely find in restaurants, the Rachel sandwich was so tasty. Such a unique variety of toppings added just the right tangy flavoring. The corn on the cob comes topped with butter, cheese and other herbs and spices was so good & for dessert the mango something creme brulee let me just tell you it changed my life. I got it just because I was curious and let me say it was the best thing my tastebuds have tasted in a long time. Now keep in mind while eating all of these delicious foods you get to look out the full wall of Windows onto the endless beautiful golf course and mountains

Really nice. I'm sure it's designed to be an evening hang out for skiers, but I'm extremely impressed with the options and atmosphere. The food menu is rather extensive, and all I've tasted is delicious. Everything is done right- whether its local fairs like crab cakes or bar food like wings. 20 taps for beer from ALL OVER. Well stocked liquor and bartenders that know their way around the rail. Interesting cocktails that can pique any drinkers interest. Decent wine red and white. Service is excellent from what I've seen - however I haven't been able to see what it's like when the place is busy in a Friday or Saturday night. I'd encourage you to give it a shot whether your interested in the attractions associated with Liberty or not. Great place! P.s. It's around the back, kind of. Entering the door on the left, keep walking toward the rear- that's the bar we're talking about. Cheers!

I absolutely have to recommend this place. Great atmosphere, super service and delicious food. I had the Reuben with fries. Fries were really fresh, seasoned perfect and came out hot. The Reuben was very tasty and is usually my go to sandwich when going to a new place. The restaurant inside is surrounded by windows and great views of the mountains and ski lift. A nice looking bar for those looking to relax with friends and an adult beverage. Service was spot on. Our server was very attentive and helpful when ordering. Definitely a must stop restaurant when in the area.

9/18/23 HIDEOUS SERVICE!! Wow! I’m in here as we speak, giving this place a second chance. What an incredible mistake that was!!!! Nothing has changed since we tried this place months ago. Servers walking by and never acknowledging us. Two other tables who came in sitting RIGHT BESIDE us and AFTER we arrived got waited on before we did. I had to flag down a server to ask if we could get a server. Again, the manager, bus staff and other servers walked by and never acknowledged us. That’s deflating. I know they’re busy and I understand if the food takes a while tonight but no drinks and no service is ridiculous. I have to wave down a server???? I went to the bar to get our beers on my own. Again, the manager, DIANA, walked by our table numerous times and just gave us a blank stare, while our glasses were empty, etc. Not sure what qualified her to be a manager. Very frustrated. I SELDOM COMPLAIN but back to back horrible experiences warrant a review. We were here for a special occasion and the staff here ruined that for my family. It’s 7:55 and we got here at 6:30 and we are now getting magnificent service. Unfortunately, that’s because I had to do a bit of complaining and get my own drinks. That’s extremely uncomfortable for me. Here are some positives, though I am never coming here for dinner again. EVER!!! However, I did want to thank the following!!! Phoenix the host was awesome. He got us a table, got us water, and did everything he could to accommodate us. He was as frustrated as we were that we weren’t getting service. I’m tipping him, not our servers. One of the recent manger hires came out to see us eventually. Her name is Michelle. She is awesome. Very personable and helpful and friendly. Of course, that was after she was made aware of our situation. She was genuinely sympathetic, however. Very kind! Shawn the bartender is always awesome. He is efficient and friendly and helpful. I should have sat at the bar. Two-plus hours into the evening, with the place emptied out, we are finally getting some outstanding service and attention from Diana, the manager. It is nice. Wow. Sure wish we would have gotten a fraction of this assistance the entire time we were being neglected...

I don't know what all the fuss is about. I'ts a nice looking restaurant, (TVs are small tho) but this place is trying to be something slightly upscale, and fails miserably. They didn't bring plates for our appetizers, the deviled eggs with jonah crab didn't work AT ALL. Better to scrape off the crab, eat the deviled egg, and eat the crab separate. Besides which, mine had a few pieces of crab shell in it and that was a huge turn off.

My chili, although tasty, had nearly whole pieces of plum tomatoes in it. I also got a Highland side salad - menu doesn't say it, but you can get a side salad. The lettuce was completely wilted and I sent it back. Manager did come out and saw the salad and completely apologized saying he had fresh ingredients and could make me a new one. I was full on eating my son's very good tasting smiley fries and forewent the salad. But, it was a nice gesture. The kids hotdog was burnt on edge and the 3 year old with us did not like the permeating burnt taste- it's not like the grilled burnt taste. There was 6 of us and they included the gratuity in at 18%. Just FYI.

Well, if you can't get basics right, makes you wonder about the other offerings. I'll stick to McKee's Tavern. I know what I'm getting there and...
