Piranha Club — Restaurant in Carroll

When my wife and I were there it was only serving food and drinks. NO STRIPPERS or we would not have stopped!!

I had eaten lunch there a couple of weeks earlier and had a very good pork tenderloin. So good I thought I’d take my wife there for dinner.

Nice looking place. Pretty big place full service bar on two ends and dining room in the middle. They also have several tv’s for game watching. Reasonable sized menu, Several dinner items and burgers. They also have salads and wraps.

I ordered a prime rib sandwich and my wife ordered a bacon chicken ranch wrap. We both chose a dinner salad as our side.

The first bites were “ok only”. My prime rib sandwich, one piece of toast was burnt. The sandwich was a little lacking in my opinion. The only flavor I tasted was the burnt toast. The ranch bacon wrap lacked any real flavor. It’s hard to explain, but it was mostly flavorless. Both meals were blah.

I don’t think we’ll be back. They’re too many other restaurants in Carroll to eat at first.

This is a bar first for sure and then a grill last. The food is good for the most part but the service it terribly lacking. I was warned that the prime rib was over cooked before I agreed to order it so that is fine. My wife however ordered a medium rare steak which came out well done, we had to remind them that she had the side salad, and her sour cream for her baked potato was frozen. I recall in previous visits various things like that happening as well. It just feels like they never really step up the service here. They should have offered their prime rib a a discount since it was over done which again I accepted but was disappointed as I am a rare or medium rare...

5/28/19 met up with some friends. Drank, played pool and ate. Lunch time the bar maid wouldn't let us sit where we wanted. She was pushy trying to have us order before we were ready. 3 groups of two is not a table of 6, to get her 20% tip, that she didn't deserve. $34 and got charged $8 for tip. Food was good! We heard the guy that bartends in the evening is much more accommodating. I tried to explain that if she wanted good tips she should be nicer to her customers.
