So I went to this location this morning to get a coffee that I normally get so I know how it is supposed to taste. I took a sip and knew that the caramel was missing. I looked on the sticker on the side of the cup, and it didn’t say caramel, so I drove back around and told the girl at the window that it was missing the caramel, she spoke to someone and she said they put caramel in the coffee. Having had this drink several times I know when the caramel is missing because it’s happened before . The girl tried to hand me a cup with caramel in it, expecting me to just pour it in my cup, so I asked her if they could just remake it, and I would gladly give them back the coffee that was wrong. She told me they can’t take anything back through the window, she told me to pull to the second window and they would remake another one. Well, when the girl came to the window, she handed me the new coffee, rudely asked for the old coffee back ( Even though they told me they were not allowed to take stuff back through the window) and she walked off didn’t say anything, no sorry about that, no Here’s your new one and no Have a good day. Nothing I took a sip and it tasted the exact same way that the other one did so I parked. I went inside went up to the counter and said I would like my money back, she asked me if I paid with cash or card and I told her Cash she goes to the girl at the drive-through window and ask her “did she pay with cash or card? “ As if I’m lying and just trying to get cash from her. Why even ask me if you weren’t going to believe me?? then she aggressively opened the cash drawer , handed me my money back and in a rude and snarky way says have a nice day. I’m very disappointed in this location and her lack of customer service. I was not rude, but I’m not going to pay for something if it’s not right because then I’m left with a coffee I won’t drink and I’m out four dollars. This generation of rude self entitled snarky kids do not need to work in customer service because they lack the skills. I will no longer go to this location, which is a disappointment because it is closer to my home. But I’m willing to drive a little further for good coffee and good...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible service! I arrived at this drive-through 15 minutes prior to closing. There were two cars ahead of me, when I reached the menu, a voice came over the menu speaker telling me to pull up to the first window. With two other cars ahead of me, by the time I reached the window 10 mins had passed, a male employee named Devin was at the window, I asked for a 2 scoop sundae at which time he told me they stopped making ice cream. I sat there for a second confused because I knew I had come to the right Dunkin which was also a Baskin-Robbins. I asked, “are you out of ice cream or are you not selling it at all anymoe ever?” He then replied “no we are getting ready to close so we’re not making any ice cream.” I stated, “but you’re still open and I’ve been sitting in the line for 10 minutes“.He refused to sell me ice cream stating, “how many places can you go 5 minutes before closing and get what you want“. I was completely taken a back by this response I did not know what to say. After sitting there for a few seconds trying to process what he just said, I responded, “but you are still open”, he replied “yes but I’m not making you a sundae”. I asked to speak to his manager, who was not on the premises at the time. Staring at him in shock over his response he smiled at me and asked me if I wanted to take a picture while giving the peace sign. Again, I was in shock and told him I would be filing a complaint, at which he replied. “I hope you do” then smiling said “bye-bye bye-bye bye-bye” waving at me as I was driving away. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this Dunkin. I literally drove 40 minutes out of my way coming out of Hiram to Rome specifically to get a Sundae! Never again! I called today to complained to the manager, Spencer but based on his response I’m not 100% sure that that will even go anywhere. I did confirm they make ice cream all the way up to the minute they close so it was just this young man’s decision to not make one for me. Unfortunate it seems most businesses don’t care anymore about...
Read moreThis Dunkin, at the Charley Harper Dr., Cartersville, GA location, has a Baskin Robbins attached inside, and one of its original advertised trademarks is that you get 31% off any Baskin Robbins item on the 31st of the month (for the months which have 31 days of course).
WELL, I went there today to discover that now, in order to redeem this "31% off on the 31st" offer, NOW one must have the Baskin Robbins app (whereas before, all one had to do was enter the store on a given 31st day and mention the 31%-off offer).
So, I duly downloaded the app right then and there and placed my order for two scoops of Chocolate ice cream, expecting the 31%-off deal to be there; it WASN'T. Frustrating doesn't even begin to describe things-----misadvertisement, anyone??
This ruined trip was somewhat mitigated by the kind store manager, Misty, who was sympathetic and helpful (unlike those multi-colored hair/multi-piercing girls working with her; they were less than helpful ["uh, I don't know"...was the only 'help'I got from them in regards to this problem!!]). Misty also wasn't sure what had gone wrong, but she at least tried to help, and to make things right by giving me a free donut to make up for my paying FULL PRICE for the two scoops of ice cream.
I was a regular customer of Baskin Robbins, coming in on other days besides the 31st. But this was one of the highlights of the month, and by all appearances it's now a mere...
