Orchid Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Carthage

First time trying this place, and let me tell you the food is definitely good. But as I was eating the yummy salad I bit down and felt a hard object, I tok the salad out and a little hard piece of plastic or ceramic? Was in the lettuce. I then went to work with the food and kept eating cause it’s that good and I was hungry, just for my co worker to tell me it happened to her too, but hers was a clear piece like glass.

Def get the food but please be very careful. Biting this piece made my gums sore and I would hate to have someone go through that.

I did call and let her know what happened and she said she was sorry and that that’s never happened before. Which I get but it happened to my coworker too. She did apologize and that was it. Still...

This food truck has excellent Thai food. I was visiting from out of town and my buddy brought me down here. I ordered yellow curry with shrimp, heat 8/10. It was very delicious. These folks used to own Thai restaurants in San Diego. I really want to stress that this food was delicious. The heat index was a little lower than I thought it was going to be; but, this is the middle of America so they probably dial it back a little knowing that people here are not ready for full Thai Pepper heat! Folks running it are nice enough, but the last two times we have tried it, the orders aren't right. The first time they forgot the rice and we didn't notice until we got home. The owner offered to bring it all the way to our house, but we declined. Should have been in the bag from the beginning.

The second one, my wife ordered veggie Pad Thai. We are still unsure what the item in the picture is, but we are assuming it's egg. Very unpleasant. Not sure if we'll be back. I understand prices going up, but the quality should...
