Grand Avenue Pizza — Restaurant in Jasper

There are a lot of restaurants in small towns all across the USA. Very few of those restaurants rise to the level of "Excellent". Grand Avenue Pizza is an excellent small town restaurant. In fact, if you are in the area, you should make it a priority to visit at least one time to give it a try. The pizza here is absolutely fantastic. Fresh veggies, quality meats, and delicious sauces. So far, my personal favorite is the Barbecue Chicken Pizza... It's a perfect blend of sweet and tangy sauce with the spice from the minced Jalapeño. If you aren't in the mood for pizza, they have a good selection of sandwiches and salads as well. Grand Avenue doesn't skimp on toppings, each pizza is loaded with a large amount of toppings and cheese. They have 2 crust choices: thin, and a cauliflower crust as well. Do yourself a favor... If you are reading this review, you need to go to Grand Avenue Pizza in Jasper, MO and give them a try. You won't regret it. Oh, I forgot to mention.... Very glad we came. The cheese bread was fantastic. The pizza was thin crust with a great amount of quality toppings. I’m kind of burned out on thin crust at the moment but would love to see the all meat on the same dough as the cheese bread. That would be excellent. The really odd thing was they only serve tea on the weekends. Soda was available in cans. I understand not getting into a contract for fountain drinks, but not having tea? It’s the least expensive beverage to offer. That’s the only reason I’m docking their food to 4 stars. For the atmosphere, the building is old with steps and no railing. I’m sometimes in a wheelchair and i would not be able to get into place if it were one of those days. Also it was mostly booth seating. They had two really nice tables but the chairs were the folding plastic chairs like you get at the big box stores. It is worth the drive and we enjoy supporting small...

Very nice place. We went in with a group of 6 and were all comfortable at a larger oval table. The staff was super friendly and the pizza was superb 👌!! Extra thin crust, it was crisp and crunchy, and the toppings were perfect for the size. We had the bbq chicken pizza, which was really good and a surprise for us since we don't usually like the bbq sauce because it's overpowering. We had the classic Supreme and a pepperoni also, both were very good with fresh and great proportion of crust to toppings. Plain wings and Buffalo wings (1/2 pound each) were also much better than anticipated. Great job, and we look forward to...
