Jason's Fish &Chicken — Restaurant in Caruthersville

I normally don't leave negative reviews but this is a must say. The chicken looks sick and doesn't seem to match up. This is my second order with the same circumstances. And although I expressed my concerns multiple times to the owner and staff, the response was very non chalant. The chicken skin was soggy as if it was a rotisserie instead of fried wings. The owner stated he couldn't do anything about it because he didn't want to loose money. So he picked up my chicken and played with the chicken to show me the inside was cooked to prove a point and put the food back in the plate and forced me to take and eat the food by denying me a swap out of food that was actually done correctly. The restaurant also claims to serve real catfish filets but actually serves Swai which is a bootleg version of catfish which is false advertising. A major red flag, your business lacks integrity. I literally have a reaction to swai and ate it because of your allegations to it being catfish but still never complained. Its usually cause i am a peace maker.Its one thing to express your concerns of not wanting to loose money which is totally understandable. However customer service is EVERYTHING. A customer concerns should matter. It keeps everything running smoothly insight of the business industry. Yet my concerns which will also be concerns for future customers,whether they address it or not, were completely ignored and pushed...

Delicious food, great portions, & fair prices. For those three alone, I'll return. But for the rest, I'll get it to go.

I'm old school, but a sit down meal should include food on a plate, with real dinnerware and a napkin, not served in a styrofoam to-go container with a small plastic bag of cheap plastic dinnerware. All the condiments, save for the ketchup, in single serve packets. And if you're out of water at 6:30 in the evening, with one table occupied and three workers standing behind the counter, send someone across the street to Dollar General for a case or three.
