Erickson's Ice Cream Cafe — Restaurant in Carver

What a great place! You can tell it's a local watering hole but make sure to go out of your way to visit if you're in the area. It's a building with order windows on the front and one side, there's a large parking lot and picnic tables to the left. And so many flavors! So many more than you could almost ever try. I would say it never disappoints. We typically are waiting for this place to open for the season as it is closest to our house. Good ice cream, portions are reasonable, and has picnic tables setup to enjoy. When it rains the parking lot becomes one giant puddle and the hours are the biggest negative but still overall great option and an iconic shop...

Great ice cream. Heading home and stopped by to pick up ice cream. The person who was serving me asked, "for here, or to go?" Since we were going to eat itwhen we got home, about 25 minutes, I said "to go." He packed the ice cream in a drink cup with a cover. It had not melted at all by the time we got home....
