Their salsa is out of this world addictive, I could drink it by the bottle! Chips were warm & fresh, and they replenish their chip stock at the bar via trash barrels! (clean obviously) which feels really authentic, like what “grandma” would do if she had a restaurant full of people to feed. Speaking of that, it was definitely crowded for a Thursday night at 830 pm, but after a 10 minute wait, a spot did open up at the bar, which suited us fine. Oh and if ur one of those people who worry that your the subject of the convo every time someone speaks a different language around u... don’t come to this restaurant (fine with me, less of a wait!) because every employee speaks in Spanish unless they are speaking to you, which I think adds to the atmosphere.
The restaurant is small, but the employees are lovely, the music is loud but if you come from any European or Latin American country you will feel right at home. My husband and I shared our meals, between us we got a Chimichanga(chicken), an Enchilada (beef), a tamal, & a relleno, and refried beans & rice... and everything was delicious & authentic. There was only one downside- we wished the chimichanga was bigger & had more wet ingredients to balance the shredded chicken, but we solved that problem with beans & some of the sauces from other things. Not really a downside tho to say u want more!
All in all a great restaurant with friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. A great addition to Carver. We don’t get many great restaraunts desperate to be here so we weren’t expecting much.... we lucked out, because it’s the best Mexican restaraunt we’ve been to anywhere around, and it’s 2 minutes from home! It made for a great date night, the first of many more! I’ve already planned what I’m ordering next... 3 street tacos... and my husband said he could close his eyes & point at the menu & be happy with...
Read moreI stumbled upon this small Mexican restaurant and was absolutely delighted by the experience it offered. The moment I walked in, the aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine enveloped me, setting the stage for a memorable meal.
The food was undeniably a highlight. With each dish, it was evident that the flavors were carefully crafted and the ingredients were of high quality. From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful tacos, every bite was a burst of Mexican culinary artistry. The restaurant's commitment to preserving the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine truly shone through in every dish.
Equally impressive was the staff's warmth and hospitality. The friendly faces greeted me with genuine smiles and a willingness to make my dining experience exceptional. Their attentiveness and willingness to offer recommendations made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.
The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant added to the charm. It felt like a hidden gem, a place where you could escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy your meal in a relaxed setting.

Read moreExcellent authentic Mexican food. Great quality rice always gets my attention and Fiesta chara has great rice and refried beans with cheese that come with most meals. The portions are good sized and come on a proportionate plate (which is usually very hot). Fried tortilla chips and salsa are brought to your table to start. Great chips and even better salsa in my opinion. The guacamole is great here with a good consistency, which I believe is important. The entrees I have true are the burritos, which are stuffed with all sorts of good things and served on a plate. This isn't your normal pick up and eat burrito. You'll need a fork and knife and extra napkins. The chicken taquitos are cooked perfectly with the right amount of crisp and served with guacamole and Pico de Gallo. My favorite dish by far is the Enchiladas Tres Amigas. Which I highly recommend. Easily seen from the main road with a decent parking structure. A great restaurant if your craving authentic Mexican food. I believe outside dining is still an option for now. (most...
