MP Sports Cards — Local services in Carver

Let me start this review by saying Google rates off five stars, most of the major card grading companies base off a 1-10 scale. If Google followed that same scale they would get a pristine 10 from me. I recently got back into card collecting (sports, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh) and MP Sports Cards offers all those and more so let me tell you about my experiences with MP Sports Cards:

Starting off with the store itself, a lovely little “hole in the wall” shop located close to Carver Center right and the end of a strip plaza it’s easy to miss, but if you pop in you will not be disappointed.

Matt’s store (the owner) has plenty to choose from big name card brands at super competitive market pricing. And speaking of Matt, he is one of the most genuinely interested and passionate collector/store owner I’ve interacted with. There are other shop owners out there who will give you the run-around just interested in trying to make a quick buck but that is not how Matt or his employees operate. They will take the time out to educate those that need guidance and will help card or sports enthusiasts make the right purchase.

On certain weekday nights they also pool certain big value boxes together to do breaks live on stream which is a great way for local collectors to engage with each other. And for those that don’t want to spend a ton of money on a box to have a chance at getting something great for a fraction of the box price, they’re really worth it!

I have been a happily recurring customer since shortly after the shop opened and I’ve learned more from Matt and his team then I had in 20+ years of casually collecting. They helped turn a hobby into a passion!

I came here a year ago and bought my first pack of cards a gentleman named Andrew was more than happy to help me make a decision on something that was new to me is honesty made me comfortable knowing that he wasn't trying to maximize a sale I continue to come here over the course of a year had the pleasure to meet the rest of the staff and the owner who is actually quite Pleasant because you could talk with him and he could tell you everything that there is about sports cards and the business around it polite kind of respectable the store is super clean you could come here with your family and know that you're going to get good quality service I recommend to anyone come down check it out I've never had a bad experience I don't think you will either store is well stocked with retail and hobby selections and option to buy single packs if you're not like me who can't make up his mind I drive 40 minutes sometimes to come here...
