Every time I've come here there has been a problem! Either the food was incorrect or it was left out of my order, food luke-warm/not fresh tasting, or items have run out & it's during regular lunch/dinner time (not before they're about to close or something), with mediocre customer service at best. Most recently I came around 5:15pm & ordered inside instead of the drive thru. The person kept repeating the order back wrong (which was not special or specific) and charged us for an incorrect item (the person clearly wasn't paying ANY attention) & then said the baked potato would be about 10 minutes; they ran out & only had 1. I decided to wait because that's what I had stopped for, & after 10 minutes the crew member came & told me, "Sorry, I told you wrong, it'll actually be about an HOUR!" It's dinner rush & there's no baked potatoes for 1 HOUR??! That doesn't even seem right! The young man apologized & gave me the money back for the 1 potato, but I felt they could have done MORE since I had been WAITING there for over 10 minutes at this point. Either the manager or a shift leader rolled their eyes (as if I was inconveniencing Them!) & handed me my asiago ranch chicken sandwich, which I of course checked & guess what- NO asiago cheese on it! I believed that it was a manager who had even made & handed the wrong thing to me!! It was ridiculous- normally the employees are not very apologetic or sincere when this happens. (I was afraid to complain too much because they were making my food & I didn't want them to mess with it!) It really wasn't that busy & there were only a couple customers inside, yet the front counter/cash register area was dirty, & the floors and tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned or wiped off in a while. The restroom was out of toilet paper as well. It wasn't like there was a line out the door OR around the restaurant in the drive-thru! I can understand that people have bad days, and that when its busy it can be hard to keep the inside straightened up with lines of people or cars, but I have experienced these issues multiple, MULTIPLE times! Lol I will stick to the other fast food options that are in the area from now on. DON'T go here unless you want your order WRONG or INCOMPLETE, or at least double check your to-go...
Read moreMy husband & I decided to get food quickly as we traveled the 2hrs home. He went inside thinking it would be faster than the drive thru. It was 8:12 pm & they were not busy. Fast food establishments are dubbed "fast food" for a reason. Wendy's is a hamburger & fries restaurant. You'd think they'd have hamburgers & fries ready to be bagged up & sent out the door within minutes. This was not our experience. The young male cashier took his order wrong. He ordered a #1 combo & a baconater combo. He charged him a Jr Baconater combo. No #1. No Baconater combo. He then tells my husband he'll just up charge him for the Baconater combo & my husband tells him no because that's more $ than the original price. My husband had to do the simple math for this guy because he tells him he can't give him a refund because he'd need to get the manager. Mind you he had to ring up a separate order for the #1 combo. To me, this was RIDICULOUS. He returns to the car at 8:32. Twenty minutes to get 2 combo meals. 20 mins & they were not busy. The fries were cold. The drinks were watery & I was furious. Read moreAvoid this store at all costs. I was served an old, abandoned sandwich, that didn't even have the right ingredients. I returned, and the manager at the window said "you ordered your sandwich only ranch" and shoved the receipt in my face. I looked at it, and explained this is someone else's food, because the receipt had an older time (like over an hour old). It wasn't until I showed her my phone that she then agreed to get it done right. She looked at me very smug and just plainly.said "here".I was then handed the same old sandwich, she just added cold cheese and room temperature bacon. The chicken was still the same one, old and dry. At this point, I wasn't going to continue speaking with this person, and just left. I did try to eat it, but it was horrible and likely harmful. I literally threw it away.
I reported them to corporate, and escalated because they are a franchise store independently owned. But the level of unprofessionalism, and bad quality food, needed to be made clear, as this can be harmful to the brand. Bad store. Have some pride.
Also, stop trying to resell old, abandoned food for a few extra dollars. Shameful business practice. Be better...
